Last chance to have Lickety Splits!

Lickety Splits ice cream shop Denmark Wisconsin will be opened October 29 30th and 31st (Halloween) from 2 PM till 8 PM 
Flavors;
baked apple pie, big muddy, blueberry waffle cone, black cherry, caramel collision, Cookie Monster, jumping jersey cow, lemon cheesecake, mint Mackinac Island fudge, mint chocolate chip, orange twister, pirates bounty, rainbow sherbet, strawberry cheesecake, vanilla and Wisconsin campfire s’mores, and possibly a few more flavors come join us for a lot of Halloween trick-or-treat

Come join us tonight 6-8pm at the Activity Center where we meet now every Thursday for FREE ‘Mixed Fiber Arts!’ Open to anyone, no sign up needed, just show up to learn, showcase what you can do, or bring a project you’re already working on.

We can teach you Crochet for free and will give you a hook & starter yarn. Give it a try to see if it’s something to continue or brush up on old skills. Others who come weekly knit, bring their spinning wheel, embroider and more! Grab a friend and join us!

If you already know how to crochet we can always use extra hands to help create ornaments for our Tree Lighting Tree! ‘Yarn Bombing’ we start late winter and put up in the Village in May.

Village of Denmark Trunk or Treat is this Saturday 2-4pm in the Elementary Parking Lot!
Not only does Denmark Connects have a spot for you to collect crochet goodies & candy, with the cars, but we’re running the ‘Snow Plow’ Art at the event again! Last year everyone just wrote their name (you can still see some at the top of the plow) we’re stepping it up this year! Courtesy of ‘Pro 1’ they’re letting us prepare the plow blade again and this year our artists will create a mural on it for the kids to color in as our first ‘Community Mural’ project! There will also be space to add your own art with our paint pen markers!

*It will be over by the ‘Touch A Truck’ area!

The Village of Denmark is asking for your help!

If you live in the village, please fill out the land use survey they sent out recently. It is due by Monday October 26th. This survey will help the village better serve what the community wants and needs. If you don't respond, they didn't hear you, and that's on you if you read this and didn't fill out the survey!

We are updating the Village of Denmark Comprehensive Plan and need your input. A comprehensive plan is a guide for housing, economic development, transportation, natural resources protection, and other such land use matters. A high response rate will ensure the updated plan represents the desires of...

We wanted to go e a huge thank you to 2 AMAZING organizers for the 2026 Denmark Connects Denmark Derby car!

Brenda L. Hartstern and Doug Schwark really made our car look fantastic and Mary Cuthill came in clutch when her costume’s wrenches were the correct size to adjust our over tightened steering! Mary was also an incredible co-organizer of the Derby Sponsors alongside Beck Laundrie of Hardware Hank Denmark .

Brenda and Mary have also both been incredible at helping organize for the Denmark Trunk or Treat next Saturday.

More thank yous to come, mostly because we have so many incredible people that make the Village of Denmark great!

🧶 Come learn, share or inquire about some new possible crafting skills with us every Thursday night 6-8pm for our Mixed Fiber Arts group which is FREE for all…. And keep your brain active no matter what stage of life you’re in!

Knitting, Crochet, Embroidery, Spinning, Rug Making, Macrame and so much more you can do with fibers!! Lasts 2hrs but come and go as you please. Would love to have someone share their Felting skills!
