Trauma can affect more than how we feel. It can shape how we respond to stress, connect with others, and navigate everyday life.

For some individuals, these challenges continue even while participating in therapy. A more structured, trauma-focused approach may help address underlying patterns and build skills that support meaningful progress.

RECOVER at Neighbors Counseling is an Intensive Outpatient Program for adults who may benefit from a higher level of therapeutic support.

Through evidence-based treatment, group connection, individual counseling, and psychiatric collaboration, RECOVER focuses on emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, emotional flexibility, and emotional safety.

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all. Neither is the level of care needed along the way.

We truly made some meaningful connections and shared valuable information at today’s Allen Neighbors Network gathering! 💚

It was such a pleasure to have Taryn Trice join us and share more about the programs and services available through Collin Springs and Carrollton Springs.

Both locations offer an extensive range of mental health and substance use services, including:

✨ 24-hour emergency care
✨ Detox and substance use programs
✨ Inpatient care
✨ Geriatric mental health services
✨ Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
✨ Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
✨ Child and adolescent programs
✨ Senior-focused programs

A few additional resources worth highlighting are their 24/7 intake availability and free transportation within a 25-mile radius of each location, helping make these services more accessible to those who need them.

Collin Springs and Carrollton Springs also accept most major commercial insurance plans, including TRICARE, traditional and managed Medicare, and Medicaid.

This month’s session, Spotting Dissociation in Real Time, is designed to help clinicians feel more confident recognizing dissociation as it shows up in the therapy room. Quinton will share practical ways to notice what may be happening in the moment, approach screening more conversationally, and respond while staying grounded in connection with the client.
