Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the right things for your health… but still don’t feel like yourself?
You’re eating well. You’re exercising. You’re taking the supplements. You’re trying to prioritize sleep.
And yet, you’re exhausted, bloated, struggling with brain fog, or wondering why your hormones seem to have a mind of their own or maybe they are on a roller oaster!?
Maybe you’ve even had your labs checked and been told everything looks normal.
This is something I see so often in my work with women.
And it’s one of the reasons I love functional medicine.
As a Nurse Practitioner, I believe there’s value in stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, not just treating individual symptoms, but considering how your hormones, thyroid, gut health, nutrient status, lifestyle, and stage of life may be influencing how you feel.
That doesn’t mean testing everything or assuming there’s always a hidden root cause. It means asking thoughtful questions, looking at the evidence, and developing a plan that makes sense for YOU.
Because you deserve more than a medication or list of supplements and a reminder to manage your stress. You deserve to understand your health and feel confident about your next steps.
I’m bringing Well North back to this space with more practical, evidence-informed conversations about women’s health.
We’ll talk about hormones, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, gut health, nutrition, strength, and all the things that help us feel like ourselves again.
If you’re a woman who wants to feel better, understand her body, and approach her health with more intention, you’re in the right place.
I’m glad you’re here.
Here’s a reminder that you don’t have to figure it all out at once.
And tell me in the comments: What’s one health topic you’d love to learn more about?
