When we are in our active addiction how many of us can honestly say that we are just filled with hope , filled with joy or that we even know what peace is?

On the contrary , many of us who have had addictions did not have any peace any joy , let alone any hope.

But the good news is that when we turn to God when we draw near to him, chains are broken, strongholds are cast down and we can start to live in true freedom. Then begin to live a life filled with peace, joy and Hope!!!

HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT WEEK FOR GROUP.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
This verse is more than a nice saying—it is the key to living a recovered life.
In recovery we learn, often the hard way, that our own understanding cannot be trusted. The thoughts, the justifications, the plans we made when we were still running our lives—they kept us stuck. True recovery begins when we stop leaning on ourselves and start leaning fully on God.
When we recognize that God is sovereign, that He is in control, everything changes. We no longer have to figure it all out. We don’t have to force the outcome or manage every detail. Our job is to seek Him and pursue Him—not with part of our life, not only when things are hard, but with all things. With our decisions, our relationships, our time, our desires, our next step.
When we do that, He directs us. He leads us in the way we need to go, in the way that is right for us, and in a way that brings Him glory. The path isn’t always easy, but it is straight. It is purposeful. And it is marked by His presence and His faithfulness.
If you’re in recovery today, or walking with someone who is, hold onto this truth: God is in control. Seek Him with everything. He will make your paths straight.

REMINDER: GROUP IS NOT THIS THURSDAY — BUT THE FOLLOWING THURSDAY ‼️‼️‼️
Last week we talked about the giant of fear. Our next group will deal with the giant of rejection.
If you (or anybody you know) has dealt with rejection, this group session could be just for you.
Though we have faced rejection, we no longer have to carry that burden or live with that lie. We get to walk in the truth of God and know that He helps us overcome all things. Rejection has no place in the life of a believer.
So come through on October 22nd. Sit down, share a meal, and let’s talk about how rejection has influenced your life. Invite a friend, come fellowship with us, and let’s knock those giants down by the authority of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

Fear Must Fall – Session 2
Last night’s group was impactful in so many ways.
We learned how deceitful the enemy is.
We learned the importance of distinguishing His voice from the Lords
We talked about having the right soundtrack in our mind…
and more importantly, we were reminded of the authority of Jesus in our lives.
The truth is:
Fear is a trap.
It’s a snare.
It paralyzes and holds us back from living the life God has called us to live.
As believers in Jesus, we choose faith over fear.
Our next group is October 22nd.
If you’re looking for a place to grow…
a place of fellowship…
and a time of healing…
Stop in, say hi, share a meal, and get to know us.
Hope to see you there!!!

Good morning and God bless to everyone.

Is there a place in your life that just seems to have you trapped, is there a lie that demoralizes the truth of God in your life? Is there a fear that you just can't get over or a mistake that you just can't let go of?

Tonight at Kairos Recovery we will be diving in to this topic of fear. It's something we all have faced in one way or another. But the good news There is a way we overcome it. There is a name that breaks the power of fear that breaks the chains of strongholds and the power of the enemy. And that name is Jesus. We really really believe if the Son sets you free , you are free indeed!!!

Come and join us tonight for a meal. A time of fellowship. And let's enter the presence of the Lord together to help us break every stronghold, every lie. And every thing that attempts to still our joy.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

John 15:5 (ESV):
“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
Notice the word Jesus chooses: bears.
He doesn’t say “produces.”
He doesn’t say “manufactures.”
He doesn’t say “works hard enough to make.”
He says bears.
Fruit is the natural result of a living connection. A branch doesn’t strain to create grapes. It simply stays attached to the vine, and the life of the vine flows through it. The fruit appears because of that connection — not because of the branch’s effort.
In recovery, this is everything.
We are learning to stop trying to produce our own change, our own strength, our own clean days, our own peace. That old way of self-reliance is exactly what kept us stuck.
Instead, we learn to abide.
We seek Him.
We remain in Him.
We count on Him to provide what we cannot manufacture on our own.
When we stay connected — through prayer, through honesty, through community, through dependence — fruit begins to appear. Not because we forced it, but because His life is flowing through us.
Apart from Him, we can do nothing.
Abiding in Him, we bear much fruit.
That’s the way of recovery.
That’s the way of freedom.
See you Thursday.

How many of us have tried to live life with worldly wisdom? What was the result?

Now....

How many of us have applied the Word of God, applied godly wisdom and godly principles in our life?
What was the result of that?

GROUP REMINDER ‼️‼️‼️

This Thursday WE WILL BE HAVING GROUP‼️🙏

We are so excited to come together this thursday at 5:30. For a time of fallowship, for a time to share a meal and for a time to work through our hurts habits and hang-ups.

This week, we will be diving in to the topic of fear. At one point or another in our lives , each of us have faced fear. And this week we get into what that looks like and more importantly how or through who we overcome fear.

So if your free this thursday please come out and lets grow together.

God bless

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

Walking Worthy of Our Calling
“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called.”
— Ephesians 4:1
Friend, God has called us to something higher. Not just to believe, but to walk — daily, consistently, with purpose — in a way that matches the high calling He has placed on our lives.
What does that look like? It looks like integrity.
Integrity is keeping a commitment even after circumstances have changed. It’s being the same person in private that you are in public. It’s aligning our character with the Word of God so that our lives don’t contradict what we claim to believe.
Is our character contrary to the Word of God? That’s a question worth asking ourselves honestly. Because every day, whether we realize it or not, we represent King Jesus and the Kingdom of God. People are watching how we speak, how we treat others, how we handle pressure, and how we keep our word.
When we walk in integrity, we walk securely (Proverbs 10:9). We become a living testimony that points others to Christ. When we don’t, we risk misrepresenting the very King we claim to serve.
So today, let’s choose to walk worthy. Let’s let our lives match our confession. Let’s honor the calling with lives of integrity — because we don’t just follow Jesus… we represent Him. And the Kingdom of God!!!
