Bloating is one of the most common things women bring to me — and one of the most misread. We’re taught to treat it like a food problem and chase it with one more supplement. Sometimes it is a specific food. But just as often, it traces back to how we eat and what’s happening upstream in digestion.
Occasional bloating is normal. But if it shows up after almost every meal, that’s your gut asking for a closer look — not a stronger probiotic.
A few things I look at first:
🌿 How you eat — fast, stressed, or on the go keeps your body in “fight or flight,” the exact state where digestion slows
🌿 Stomach acid — we make less under chronic stress and with age, which can leave food sitting longer than it should
🌿 The pattern — not “the one bad food,” but what’s happening around your meals
If you’re dealing with low energy, hormone shifts, and a gut that feels off, those usually aren’t three separate problems to solve one at a time. They tend to be part of one bigger picture — which is the whole reason I work the way I do.
Start small this week: three slow breaths and a few unhurried bites before each meal.
Unglamorous, free, and for a lot of women it changes everything downstream.
Save this for your next meal, and send it to a friend who’s been blaming her bloating on “something she ate.” 🌿
Which one are you trying first — the breaths, slowing down, or looking at the pattern?
