Dharma is often translated as your purpose or life's path, but I think it's something much deeper.
It's the unique way you are meant to move through this world. The gifts you carry, the things that light you up, the work that feels meaningful, and the way you are called to contribute to the lives of others.
It's not necessarily your job title.
It's not how much money you make.
It's not how productive you are.
And it's certainly not a checklist of things you need to accomplish.
Your dharma might be teaching.
It might be creating.
It might be raising a family.
It might be growing food, making medicine, caring for others, or simply bringing a little more kindness into the spaces you occupy.
And here's the beautiful part:
Your dharma can change its expression throughout your life.
You aren't meant to be the same person forever. Different seasons of life call different parts of you forward.
