🌆 Milwaukee, you treated us well! 💙

Our SEASPAR travelers had an amazing time exploring the city together, and Discovery World was definitely a favorite! 🐠🔬 From interactive exhibits to the aquarium, there was so much to see, explore, and enjoy.

The adventure continued with delicious barbecue at Smoke Shack 🍖, sweet treats from the Milwaukee Public Market 🍪, a little shopping 🛍️, and plenty of time discovering the city together.

But the best part? 💚 Getting away, trying something new, sharing lots of laughs, and enjoying each other’s company every step of the way.

🏐 From practice partners to the cheering section!

Earlier this season, members of the Lewis University Women's Volleyball team joined our SEASPAR Spartans for a fun practice—and our athletes couldn’t wait for the chance to return the support!

On October 6, the Spartans headed to Lewis to cheer on the Flyers from the stands. Our athletes had a blast watching the action, showing their team spirit, and seeing their new friends compete on their home court. ❤️🏐

Thank you, Lewis Women’s Volleyball, for continuing to make our Spartans feel so welcomed and supported. We loved being part of your cheering section and celebrating a friendship that started on the volleyball court—and keeps growing beyond it!

🌎💚 Inclusion Isn't Just a Day. It's What Brings Us Together! ✨

World Inclusion Day reminds us of something we believe in every day at SEASPAR: everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, connect, and belong. 🌈

Inclusion happens in so many ways. It's the first hello that becomes a friendship. 🤝 The encouragement to try something new. 🌟 The celebration of an accomplishment, big or small. 🏆 And the joy of sharing experiences with people who make us feel welcome.

For 50 years, SEASPAR has helped create opportunities for people of all abilities to discover new interests, build confidence, and make lasting memories. 💚

And while World Inclusion Day gives us a special moment to reflect, our commitment doesn't end when the day is over.

🎶 Because together, we keep Playing the Sound of Inclusion! 💚

🌟 Adventure looks good on Andrew Willer! 💚

From taking flight at SEASPAR’s first-ever iFLY special event 🪂✨ to earning second place in the deadlift at the Special Olympics Illinois Regional Powerlifting Competition 🏋️‍♂️🥈, Andrew isn’t afraid to try something new!

As an EAGLE, a Spartans Powerlifting and Bocce athlete 🏋️‍♂️🎯, and a Social Club participant, Andrew stays active throughout SEASPAR. But beyond his adventurous side, he’s known for something just as special: being a great listener, a friend to all 🤝💚, and someone who enjoys spending time with the people—and the dog 🐶—he loves.

Whether he’s competing 🏅, trying a new adventure ✨, bouncing on the trampoline with his dog 🐕, or enjoying a fire pit with his family 🔥, Andrew reminds us that sometimes you don’t need a lot of words to make a big impression. 💚

👏✨ Congratulations to our October SEASPAR Spotlight, Andrew Willer! 🌟💚

💙✨ NABERHAUS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR: GINA GRAF ✨💙

Some people volunteer their time. Others bring so much heart, energy, and dedication that their presence becomes part of what makes a program special.

At this year’s Believe & Achieve Banquet, SEASPAR proudly recognized Gina Graf as our Naberhaus Volunteer of the Year!

Over the past year, Gina has supported SEASPAR through inclusion services, weekly programs, Friday night events, and EAGLES. Whether she’s cheering participants on at bowling, encouraging someone to reach a goal on the walking track, or simply asking what else she can do to help, Gina consistently goes above and beyond.

Her positivity is contagious, and the connections she has built speak for themselves—when Gina misses a program, participants notice and ask when she’ll be back. That kind of impact is measured in friendship, trust, and the joy she brings to others.

Please join us in celebrating Gina Graf, SEASPAR’s Naberhaus Volunteer of the Year! 👏💙

🎬 And with that, we close this chapter of Believe & Achieve!

Thank you for following along as we celebrated the participants, athletes, artists, volunteers, staff, partners, and community members who bring the SEASPAR mission to life.

Missed a chapter—or want to watch them again? You can find our Believe & Achieve videos on the SEASPAR YouTube Channel.

And save the date for the next chapter:

📅 Believe & Achieve — January 21, 2027

Until then, keep believing, achieving, and celebrating inclusion with us. 💙

Video Description: The video presents the Naberhaus Volunteer of the Year Award to Gina Graf and recognizes her support across SEASPAR inclusion services, weekly programs, Friday night events, and EAGLES, as well as the positivity and encouragement she brings to participants and staff.

🏐✨ What a night for our SEASPAR Spartans! 💚

Our Spartans Volleyball team had some very special guests at practice as members of the Lewis University Women's Volleyball team joined us for an evening of volleyball, teamwork, and FUN! 🏐🙌

The athletes and Lewis players teamed up right from the start, creating their own team names before jumping into drills together. One of the highlights was our serving game, where each Lewis player had to protect their Spartan partner from getting hit by a serve—and let’s just say, they took their lifeguard duties VERY seriously! 😂🛟🏐

We wrapped up with a wash drill that put Lewis players and Spartans on the court together, leading to some awesome rallies, lots of encouragement, high-fives, and plenty of smiles. 🙌💚

But the best part of the night wasn’t just what happened on the court—it was the connection between the athletes. 🤝✨ Our Spartans received some great pointers, worked hard, and had a blast learning alongside the Lewis players. One Spartan even made sure to thank the team for coming and helping them play harder. 🥹🏐

A HUGE thank you to the Lewis University Women's Volleyball team for sharing your time, talent, and enthusiasm with our athletes! 💚❤️ You made our Spartans feel like stars ⭐, and now they’re ready to return that support from the stands!

📣 Next stop: cheering on the Flyers! Our Spartans are hoping to catch Lewis in action against Parkside on October 6! 🏐👏

From teammates on the court to fans in the stands—that’s what Playing the Sound of Inclusion is all about. 💚🎶🏐 Lewis University
