Meet Our Newest Provider: Blake Jordan, PA-C! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Blake Jordan to the Instant Orthopedic Care team!

Blake is a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience caring for patients in a busy urgent care setting in Park City. His background includes evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries, managing wounds, and helping patients navigate unexpected injuries and acute health concerns.

He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada and graduated cm laude from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Promotion. His clinical training included emergency medicine, urgent care, surgery, pediatrics, and rheumatology.

At IOC, Blake will help us continue providing accessible, same-day injury care, helping patients get back to work, sports, and everyday life as safely as possible.

Instant Orthopedic Care is now accepting OWCP Federal Workers’ Compensation patients.

If you’re a federal employee injured on the job, you can come to IOC for orthopedic evaluation and treatment, including on-site X-rays, fracture care, casting, splinting, bracing, and follow-up orthopedic care.

A concussion isn’t always obvious and you don’t have to lose consciousness to have one.

After a hit or jolt to the head or body, watch for:

• Headache or dizziness
• Confusion or difficulty concentrating
• Balance problems
• Nausea
• Sensitivity to light or noise
• Feeling unusually tired, slowed down or “not right”

If a concussion is suspected, stop the activity and seek medical evaluation. Athletes should not return to play the same day or until cleared by a healthcare provider.

Call 911 or go to the emergency room for a worsening headache, repeated vomiting, seizure, slurred speech, increasing confusion, unequal pupils or difficulty waking.

For suspected concussion symptoms without these danger signs, walk into Instant Orthopedic Care for an evaluation and guidance on the appropriate next steps.

When in doubt, sit them out.

A special afternoon spent introducing local moms to Instant Orthopedic Care. 💙

Moms are often the first to decide where their families turn when an injury happens. At IOC, we want them to know there’s a better option for fractures, sprains, sports injuries, and other orthopedic needs—same-day specialized care without the stress or expense of an emergency room visit.

We also introduced our IOC Sideline Injury Kits, created to help parents and teams feel more prepared when injuries happen at practices and games.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and learned more about the care available right here in our community. We loved connecting with you!
