Perimenopausal acne is REAL — and it’s not “just hormones.” ✨

If you’re suddenly experiencing breakouts in your 30s or 40s after years of relatively clear skin, changing hormones may be playing a major role.

As estrogen begins to fluctuate and androgen levels become more influential, you may notice:
• More breakouts around the chin, jawline & lower face
• Deeper, more stubborn blemishes
• Increased oil production
• Changes in skin texture and sensitivity
• Acne that seems to come out of nowhere — even when your skincare routine hasn’t changed

The solution isn’t always to simply “dry out” your skin. Perimenopausal skin needs a strategic approach that supports the skin barrier while addressing what’s happening beneath the surface.

✨ The goal: understand the why behind your breakouts so we can create a treatment + at-home skincare plan that works with your skin, not against it.

Your skin is changing — your skincare routine may need to change with it.

So… what exactly is a hormone pellet? 👇🏼

Hormone pellets are small, customized implants — about the size of a grain of rice — that are placed just beneath the skin, typically in the hip area, by a medical provider.

Once inserted, the pellet slowly releases a prescribed amount of hormone into the bloodstream over time. This provides a more consistent delivery of hormone rather than requiring a daily pill, cream, or other form of administration.

Pellet therapy may be considered for patients experiencing symptoms associated with hormone changes or deficiencies. Depending on the individual, treatment may help support things like energy, mood, sleep, sexual well-being, and overall quality of life.

✨ Why pellets?
• Consistent hormone delivery
• Convenient — no daily dosing
• Personalized dosing based on your individual needs
• Long-lasting delivery over several months

But hormone therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Before treatment, your provider should review your symptoms, medical history, and appropriate lab work to determine whether hormone therapy is appropriate for you.

The goal isn’t simply to add hormones — it’s to develop a personalized treatment plan designed around YOU.

Have questions about hormone pellets or wondering if they may be right for you? Schedule a consultation with our team. ✨

Dehydrated skin doesn’t always mean “dry skin.” Your skin can be oily and still lack water.

Here are a few signs to look for:
✨ Tight or uncomfortable feeling after cleansing
✨ Dull, lackluster complexion
✨ Fine lines looking more noticeable
✨ Flakiness or rough texture
✨ Makeup settling into fine lines
✨ Increased sensitivity or irritation
✨ Skin feeling oily but still somehow tight

The good news? Dehydration is something we can address with the right skincare routine, treatments, and hydration-focused products.

If your skin has been feeling off, it may be time to reassess what it’s asking for.

Because looking good doesn’t have to mean looking like you’ve had work done. It’s the subtle tweaks, healthy skin, feeling balanced, supporting your hormones, and all those little details that make you feel like you—just a little more polished. 🤍

Consider this your sign to romanticize your maintenance appointments, prioritize your health, and invest in feeling your best.

Skin, injectables, hormones & everything in between… kinda chic. ✨

The number on the scale isn’t the whole story.

When you lose weight, the goal shouldn’t just be to lose weight—it should be to lose excess fat while preserving as much lean muscle as possible.

Muscle matters because it supports:
✨ Metabolic health
✨ Strength and mobility
✨ Bone health
✨ Body composition
✨ Daily energy and function
✨ Long-term weight maintenance

Rapid or poorly supported weight loss can result in losing muscle along with fat. That’s why your approach to weight loss matters just as much as the number on the scale.

Think protein + resistance training + adequate nutrition + a sustainable plan.

The goal isn’t simply to be smaller.
It’s to become stronger, healthier, and more metabolically resilient.

Your weight is one measurement. Your body composition tells a much bigger story.

The Cupid’s bow is one of the most defining features of the lips—and when thoughtfully enhanced, it can create beautiful shape and definition without adding a lot of volume.

Lip filler isn’t always about making the lips bigger.

Sometimes it’s about:
✨ Defining the Cupid’s bow
✨ Enhancing the natural lip shape
✨ Creating better symmetry
✨ Supporting the vermilion border
✨ Adding subtle structure and balance

The goal? Work with what you already have—not erase it.

Because the best lip filler looks like your lips, just a little more defined.

There’s more than one way to do lip filler. 👄

Lip filler isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment—and it shouldn’t be.

Whether you’re looking for:
• A subtle hydration boost
• More definition along the lip border
• Added volume
• Better symmetry
• More projection
• A little more structure and support

There are different techniques and approaches we can use to create the result you’re looking for.

Some patients want a barely-there enhancement, while others want more noticeable volume. Neither is “better”—the goal is finding what looks and feels right for you.
Your anatomy, natural lip shape, proportions, and aesthetic goals all play a role in deciding what approach is best.

The best filler isn’t necessarily the most filler. It’s the treatment that’s thoughtfully planned for your face.

Not sure which option is right for you? That’s exactly what your consultation is for!
