The Halloween fun may be over, but we're still smiling about our Trunk or Treat!

Last Friday was full of spooky surprises, creative costumes, sweet treats, and lots of laughter! We loved bringing our community together for a morning of Halloween fun.

A special thank you to the members of the St. Ambrose University Student Occupational Therapy Association (Loras campus), as well as everyone else who helped make these memories possible. We hope your Halloween was full of treats and not too many tricks! 👻🍭 🧡

Autumn adventures at the pumpkin patch!

Our Hills & Dales Day Habilitation clients and Childcare Center friends each enjoyed some fun-filled days exploring all that Spoerl Heritage Acres has to offer. Everyone had a great time experiencing the seasonal attractions, soaking up the fresh air, and taking in the beautiful autumn scenery.

It’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month! 🎉

At Hills & Dales, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, share their talents, and find meaningful work they truly enjoy. Through community employers our Supported Employment Program helps make those opportunities possible through Job Development and Job Coaching.

We’re excited to highlight a couple of individuals who have found jobs where their talents can truly shine. A heartfelt thank you to Captured on Canvas and Pizza Ranch for opening their doors, recognizing the talents these individuals bring to the workplace, and providing opportunities for them to shine.

Here’s to celebrating abilities, opportunities, and the joy of finding a job you love!

Hills & Dales recently welcomed Dr. Brad McClimon, Board Chair of the Medical Associates Foundation (Medical Associates Clinic & Health Plans), and Chad Richardson, Owner/Dealer of Richardson Motors, as the two entities partnered to contribute a minivan to help meet various transportation needs of individuals supported at our Residential Center.

We look forward to how this generous contribution will further support greater independence and community engagement. Thank you! 💜
