Grateful to spend most of my time in these sacred mountains. In the summer months, I work as the trails director for Telluride Mountain Club, improving and creating trails around Telluride, Colorado. These lands offer our community so much and I’m humbled to be a steward of much of the access into these public lands.

Although we are currently navigating our complex relationship with our Mother Earth, I believe deeply in our ability to remember our interconnectedness with and reliance on these natural places.

As we move into an era where much of the human population has become totally detached from this truth, I am excited to be a conduit of reconnection. Whether it’s trails, nature meditations, or foraging with friends I am here to support in the reconnection.

We recently worked on this cool bridge on the Wasatch trail above Telluride. Thanks to American Conservation Experience (ACE) for carrying the lumber up for this project.

This is something I’m ready to accept about myself. To anyone I’ve harmed along the way, I’m sorry. It’s time we call it what it is, immature masculinity. It’s pervasive in our world right now and likely you have someone like this in your life. It’s not their fault, society has set men up to be competitive, numb, and living in fear.
If you know someone like this, remember, they can grow and evolve with stable support. They need love, curiosity, and community.

I love you and I’m sorry.
