Are you getting the most life possible from your TravelScoot battery?

We recently received two older 252Wh batteries that were completely non-functional. After replacing the fuses and battery-management circuit boards, neither battery recovered—strongly suggesting the internal lithium-ion cells had failed.

That experience inspired our latest blog post, where we explain:

✅ The most common causes of lithium-ion battery failure
✅ Why deep discharge and heat can permanently damage cells
✅ Proper charging and long-term storage practices
✅ Important battery-care dos and don’ts
✅ What to do when a battery will no longer charge or power your scooter

A little care can make a big difference in your battery’s performance and lifespan.

Important Cruise Update!!!

We are excited to announce that we are working directly with Princess Cruises to establish an official TravelScoot USA group for our Alaska Cruise aboard the Star Princess, sailing August 22–29, 2027 from Seattle! (TravelScoot USA)

By booking as part of our group, guests may qualify for additional perks such as:

✅ Discounted cruise fares
✅ Onboard credit
✅ Group amenities and benefits
✅ The opportunity to travel alongside fellow TravelScoot owners and friends

The amount of perks that we receive as a group depends largely on the size of our group. We need at least eight bookings to receive all of the benefits above. As that number increases, the perks will also increase so that more the merrier!

If you have ALREADY booked this cruise, please contact us with your Princess booking number as soon as possible. In many cases, Princess can move existing reservations into our group so you can receive all available group benefits.

If you are considering joining us, now is a great time to reserve your cabin and become part of the TravelScoot community sailing to Alaska.

This cruise is designed to be more than just a vacation. We’ll be sharing travel tips, onboard meetups, and providing support to help make your Alaska adventure as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

📅 Dates: August 22–29, 2027
🚢 Ship: Star Princess
📍 Departure: Seattle, Washington

To be added to the group or to have your existing reservation reviewed for eligibility, please contact us:
