A day filled with hope, community, awareness and support!

This past Sunday, Astera Cancer Care was proud to serve as the flagship sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Central New Jersey Walk at Middlesex College!

Our employees showed up in support of breast cancer patients, survivors, families, and community members to raise awareness and stand with those impacted by breast cancer. We also loved seeing everyone stop by our booth to get creative with our pumpkin painting activity!

Beyond the walk, our team enjoyed connecting with attendees at the Astera booth, where families and participants joined us for some fall fun with pumpkin painting!

The event has raised approximately $410,000 and counting to support cancer research, patient services, and resources for those affected by

Empowering women through education, awareness, and meaningful conversations!

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Astera Cancer Care Breast Surgeon Lisa Hopkins, MD, recently joined the St. Bartholomew's Church Annual Columbiette Pink Luncheon to share valuable insights on breast health and breast cancer care.

Dr. Hopkins highlighted the importance of early detection, advances in treatment, and how women can take an active role in making informed decisions about their health.
