I’m beginning to think work-life balance might be a little overrated. 😂

This trip to Austin, Minnesota, was supposed to be about tattooing at Algorithm Tattoo. And it was! But somewhere between appointments, visiting the SPAM Museum, playing arcade games, and exploring town, it turned into quite the little adventure.

One thing I really appreciate about this industry is the opportunity to meet new people and experience different places while doing something I genuinely enjoy.

A big thank-you to everyone at Algorithm Tattoo for making the trip so enjoyable. The hospitality has been fantastic.

Not a bad way to spend a few days away from Fife Life Tattoo in East Grand Forks.

Day two of the guest spot at Algorithm Tattoo in Austin, Minnesota!

Managed to squeeze in a visit to the SPAM Museum and knock out a couple of rad tattoos today.

One of those was a Baba Yaga piece on Braiden, the shop owner.

I’ve always believed that growing as an artist means being willing to step outside your own shop, meet new people, and experience how other artists approach their craft.

It’s been a great opportunity, and I’m grateful for the hospitality.

Apparently, personal growth also involves learning more about SPAM than I ever expected.

It’s been a wonderful experience getting to spend time with another group of artists who share the same passion for tattooing.

Tanner, one of the artists here, surprised me with this beautiful print today. Such a thoughtful gift, and one I’ll be proud to bring home.

I’m incredibly grateful for the hospitality and the opportunity to spend some time with the crew here. It’s experiences like these that make the tattoo community so special.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Although I have a feeling I’ll be looking a little different by the end of it. 👀

To be successful at anything, you have to be willing to start somewhere.

Nobody masters their craft overnight.

Tattooing has taught me a lot about patience, discipline, and the importance of never getting too comfortable with what you already know.

There’s always room to grow, and I genuinely hope I never stop learning.

I’m grateful that I get to spend my days doing something I love while continuing to improve at it.

People ask how much money you make owning a tattoo shop.

I think the better question is how much of yourself you’re willing to invest in something you love. 😂

Running Fife Life Tattoo has its rewards, but it also comes with responsibilities that don’t disappear when the workday ends.

Some days are better than others. That’s just part of owning a small business.

The important thing is to keep showing up for yourself, keep improving, and remember why you started.

When people think you’re posting for attention, but you’re genuinely this excited about one new follower. 😂

I share a lot of my life online. From tattooing at Fife Life Tattoo to spending time with my family and animals on the farm.

It’s not always about attention. Sometimes it’s about connecting with people, sharing what makes you happy, and building something meaningful along the way.

Every new follower is another person who decided my little corner of the internet was worth sticking around for.

And I appreciate that more than you know!

Sometimes self-love is a few words you never want to forget. 🖤

I really enjoy doing these smaller, delicate script tattoos.

They might not take up much space, but the meaning behind them can be enormous.

One of my favorite things about tattooing is getting to help people carry a little piece of their story with them.
