Pushing a baby out is NOT just about pushing harder. đ
Your ability to effectively deliver a baby involves a whole-body coordination between:
đŤ Breathing â helps you manage pressure
đĽ Abdominal pressure â creates the downward force you need
đ Pelvic floor â needs to be able to RELAX, lengthen, and get out of the way
Because hereâs the thingâŚ
A pelvic floor that can only squeeze is not necessarily a pelvic floor that is prepared for birth.
You need to be able to generate pressure AND release the pelvic floor so baby has somewhere to go. đ§
Think: pressure down + pelvic floor release â not just âCLENCH EVERYTHING AND PUSH.â đ
And yes, this is something you can actually practice during pregnancy.
Comment PUSH and Iâll send you my FREE guide to help you understand how to coordinate your breathing, abdominal pressure + pelvic floor for birth. đ¤°đźđ§đźââď¸
