Systemic therapy has produced a strong response, leaving only a small number of metastatic sites. The disease is controlled, but the next step is not settled.

In oligo-remnant metastatic lung cancer, clinicians must decide whether to maintain systemic therapy alone or use the limited disease burden as an opportunity for local ablation.

Sarah Goldberg, MD, MPH, and Chinmay Jani will examine how response durability, patient selection, timing, and choice of local modality shape that decision at OLN Great Debates in Solid Tumors.

After liver resection, is systemic chemotherapy alone enough to reduce recurrence risk, or should adjuvant hepatic arterial infusion have a role for selected patients?

At OLN Great Debates in Solid Tumors, Dr. Kevin Soares will argue yes, examining evidence for improved hepatic disease control and potential survival benefit with HAI. Dr. Sepideh Gholami will argue no, questioning whether the available evidence outweighs the toxicity, treatment complexity, and need for specialized expertise.

How much evidence is enough to add HAI to postoperative care?

New evidence does not always make the next treatment decision clearer.

Dr. Sara Nunnery and Dr. Seth Wander each share a gray area shaping breast cancer care and why it remains unsettled.
