We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with the Farm Fall Festival on Sunday, October 25th from 2-4pm. This is a great opportunity for college and high school students to obtain service hours or community members wanting to give back.

Wow! ❤️ We truly cannot thank the Triangle Therapy Association (TTA) enough for making our new playground a reality! This project is so much more than a playground; it represents years of generosity, kindness, and support from our incredible community. To every person who has donated, encouraged us, and believed in this vision over the years, THANK YOU! This would not have been possible without you, and we are so grateful to be part of such a caring community.

A heartfelt thank-you to the amazing businesses and individuals who helped bring this dream to life:

🛝 Triangle Therapy Association – for funding our new playground and helping create a space where children can play, grow, and make memories.

💚 Filbrun Concrete LLC – for generously donating labor costs and completing the geogrid and mulch playground surface.

💚 FAS Backyard Builders – for installing the fence and making a generous donation to TTA.

💚 Timberline Portable Buildings – for guiding the purchasing process of the playset and helping make this special space possible.

💚 Our special TTA donor – for donating an adapted swing so that even more children can experience the joy of swinging and playing.

Our final two weeks of hippotherapy were all about superhero strength!🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Through fun, superhero-themed activities, our riders challenged their muscle strength, balance, bilateral coordination, range of motion, and dynamic reaching skills—all while building confidence and having fun!

A big THANK YOU to Miranda, Mary, Margie and Tracey for horse leading and side walking this Summer ☀️

Speech Club Weeks 5 & 6 were filled with fun, laughter, and opportunities to build communication and social skills!The group enjoyed playing tabletop Hungry Hungry Hippos, planting flowers in their own pots, and challenging their descriptive language and guessing skills with a game of Headbanz.

To wrap up our final day of Speech Club, we celebrated Miller’s birthday! The group created invitations, practiced community skills by purchasing cotton candy, and enjoyed a special celebration filled with tetherball, Monopoly Jr., and lots of birthday smiles. It was the perfect way to end a great session of Speech Club!

Weeks 5 & 6 of Power Up Preschool were full of adventure and smiles as we explored the stories Dragons Love Tacos and The Pout-Pout Fish! 🌮🐉🐟

Our campers strengthened their fine motor skills through cutting, coloring, and hands-on crafts, while obstacle courses kept them moving and building gross motor skills. We also practiced speech and language skills by identifying letter sounds, expanding vocabulary, sequencing story events, and participating in engaging story-based activities. It was two weeks filled with learning, laughter, and imaginative play!

Weeks 5 & 6 of Fun with Friends were packed with laughter, learning, and friendship! 🎉💛

We celebrated Hammy's birthday with a party full of fun, including making invitations for a friend, playing musical chairs, and even making homemade ice cream in a bag! 🍦🎈

We also read *The Fickle Pickle and the Friendship Club*, which taught us an important lesson: when we throw a fit because we don't get our way, our friends may not want to keep playing. The group reflected on what makes them feel upset and what helps them stay calm by writing and illustrating their thoughts. We wrapped up our days with plenty of imaginative woods play, where friendships continued to grow through adventure and teamwork. 🌳😊
