Well I am finally back on track! Today I was able to start treatment again. It had to be postponed because of the car accident and then being exposed to measles while I was at Mayo and had to be quarantined. Please keep all the prayers and good vibes coming!

Update: Deb just got out of surgery for her broken arm. Surgery went well and she will be recovering in her room shortly. Likely still in the hospital another night. She has been getting lots of rest which is very much needed. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

DEB IS STAYING OVERNIGHT IN THE ER. NO ROOM IN HOSPITAL . DEB BROKE HER RIGHT WRIST , HER STERNUM, AND #6 RIB.
POSITIVE VIBES PLEASE !!!

Please say some extra prayers and send all of the good vibes you can for Debis. On her way to the cancer center today for some additional tests, she and her sister were involved in an accident. Both are okay considering the situation but this is very much adding to her pain and worry. Please do everything in your power to send the love!!! She needs us all now more than ever đź’•đź’•

We expected to come in today to learn what treatment would be and when it would start. Turns out chemo treatment began today. I will also be starting radiation most likely by the beginning of next week for the lesions on my brain. As always positive thoughts, good vibes, and prayers are greatly appreciated! Love to you all!

We are back to where we had hoped and prayed never to be again. Deb has been having a lot of pain and discomfort recently, different from the pain and discomfort in the past. The cancer has returned…It has spread to her liver, bones-including her spine, and possibly her brain. With this news on Friday she has returned to having many tests and appointments in different clinic locations. She will be meeting with her doctor again in a week. At that time he will have a treatment plan for her. The doctor remains hopeful. There have been many advances in the last few years. She is not ready to give up. While she will never be cancer-free they can concentrate on controlling it and having "quality of life". Many tears have been shed by Deb, her family and her friends. She will continue to smile, enjoy life and keep us all included in her journey through this. Thank you all for your love and support that you have already given to Deb. She needs us again now as she once again works to conquer the cancer. Many of you have given in the past and it has been so appreciated. If you are able to give again it would be so helpful - gas expenses, no ability to work again, insurance premiums…the list goes on. I know that line is truly expensive for everyone at the time but if you kind find a small amount to help, it will be so appreciated. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all! Barb 💕
