🔥 LET’S GET REAL FOR A MOMENT…

What is ONE thing you know God has been putting on your heart to do, but fear, doubt, or waiting for the “right time” has kept you from starting?

Now ask yourself this: If nothing changes over the next six months, will you be okay with where you are?

👇 Drop that ONE thing in the comments. You never know who might need the courage to take that same first step.

🙏 Let’s encourage one another to stop waiting and start walking in faith!

✝️ The Further You Walk With Jesus, The Less You Can Take With You.

One of the hardest lessons we learn in our walk with Christ is that spiritual growth often requires letting go.

Sometimes it’s old habits. Sometimes it’s worldly desires. Sometimes it’s relationships, friendships, or environments that continually pull us away from the person God is calling us to become.

And sometimes, it’s simply letting go of the version of ourselves we used to be.

Think about it like cleaning out your closet. 👕

How many of us have closets, garages, storage buildings, or even entire rooms filled with things we haven’t touched in years?

We hold on to clothes we haven’t worn, belongings we no longer use, and things we tell ourselves we might need someday.

And let’s be clear: There is absolutely nothing wrong with keeping sentimental belongings. Whether it’s something passed down from a loved one, something that reminds us of our childhood, or something connected to a special memory, those things can have tremendous meaning.

But if we’re being truthful, sometimes we hold on to things simply because we struggle with letting go.

People have done this for generations, and we still do it today. We accumulate possessions, store them away, and sometimes spend more time protecting what we’ve collected than appreciating what God has already blessed us with.

Now, take that same picture and apply it to your spiritual life.

How many of us have a spiritual closet full of things we’ve been holding on to for years?

Maybe it’s bitterness toward someone who hurt us.

Maybe it’s pride that keeps us from admitting when we’re wrong.

Maybe it’s jealousy, anger, resentment, unforgiveness, or the constant need for approval from others.

Maybe it’s a past mistake that God has already forgiven us for, but we refuse to forgive ourselves.

Or maybe it’s something we’ve become so comfortable with that we don’t realize it’s standing between us and a closer relationship with Jesus.

We keep adding things to our lives without ever taking the time to clean out what doesn’t belong there anymore.

And just like a physical closet, eventually things become so cluttered that we have a hard time finding what actually matters.

Jesus said in Luke 9:23 that whoever wants to follow Him must deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow Him.

Notice that word: DAILY.

Following Christ isn’t a one-time decision to clean out our lives. It’s a daily commitment to examine our hearts, surrender our struggles, and allow God to continue working within us.

And here’s something else worth remembering:

Not everything from your past needs to be thrown away.

Just as we keep meaningful belongings that remind us of where we’ve been, there are experiences, lessons, and memories that God can use to remind us of how far He’s brought us.

Your past can be a testimony without becoming the place where you continue to live.

There’s a difference between remembering where God brought you from and refusing to move forward because you’re afraid to let go.

The same goes for people.

Following Jesus doesn’t mean we stop loving people or start believing we’re better than anyone else. It means we learn to put Christ first while continuing to love, encourage, forgive, and pray for others.

Sometimes God isn’t asking you to get rid of everything around you. Sometimes He’s asking you to surrender what’s taking up too much room in your heart.

At the end of our lives, we won’t be taking our houses, vehicles, clothes, money, or collections with us.

What will matter is our relationship with Jesus, how we lived, how we loved others, and what we did with the opportunities God gave us.

So maybe it’s time to clean out that closet.

Not just the one in your bedroom, garage, or storage building.

But the one in your heart. ❤️

Let go of the bitterness. Release the resentment. Surrender the pride. Forgive where forgiveness is needed. Make room for the things that truly matter.

Because the further we walk with Jesus, the more we begin to understand that it’s not about how much we can carry through this life, but how much we’re willing to surrender to Him.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” — John 3:30

🙏 Here’s a question for all of us today: What’s something you’ve been holding on to that God may be asking you to let go of?

🤠💍 Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Jon & Dakota Suter! ❤️

Last night was another special evening as I had the honor and privilege of officiating the wedding of Jon and Dakota Suter!

There’s something truly special about witnessing two people come together in marriage, making a lifelong commitment to love, honor, and stand beside one another through all of life’s adventures.

What made last night even more meaningful was getting to bring my son, Jackson, along with me! ❤️ It’s not every day that I get to share these moments with him, and having my little cowboy by my side made the evening that much sweeter. From dressing up together to enjoying the celebration (and, of course, some wedding cake 🍰), these are memories I’ll cherish as a dad.

As a father, I hope Jackson grows up understanding the importance of faith, family, love, and the commitment that marriage represents.

Jon and Dakota, thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day! I pray that God blesses your marriage with a lifetime of love, laughter, patience, and unforgettable memories.

Congratulations again, Mr. & Mrs. Suter! May this be the beginning of a beautiful life together! ❤️

We went to see the new Spider-Man movie last night. Movies are created to entertain us, but it’s amazing that so many of them also have deeper messages built into their stories—messages that can connect with what people are experiencing in real life.

One moment that stood out to me was Spider-Man dealing with sensory overload. His heightened senses normally help make him powerful, but when everything hits him at once—the noise, lights, movement, danger, and pressure—those same abilities become overwhelming.

I couldn’t help but see it as a metaphor for real life.

A person doesn’t have to be autistic to experience sensory overload. Stress, grief, depression, anxiety, exhaustion, and too many responsibilities can make the world feel unbearably loud. Sounds may seem louder, lights may feel brighter, patience can become shorter, and even simple tasks or conversations can feel like too much.

Peter Parker spends so much of his life helping other people while privately carrying loss, loneliness, responsibility, and the pressure to remain strong. Eventually, everything he has been carrying begins to affect him.

Sometimes what appears to be anger, distance, irritability, or shutting down is actually someone’s mind and body saying, “I cannot carry one more thing.”

That may be the deeper message behind Spider-Man’s sensory overload: even the strongest people can become overwhelmed. Being strong doesn’t mean we never struggle. It means recognizing when we need to stop, breathe, rest, pray, talk to someone, and allow others to help us carry the weight.

If life feels too loud right now, you are not weak, broken, or failing. You may simply be carrying more than one person was meant to carry alone.

It’s okay to pause.
It’s okay to rest.
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to pray.
It’s okay to ask for help.

You are not a burden. You are not alone. Your life matters, and this difficult season is not the end of your story.

Sometimes even heroes need someone to help carry the weight. ❤️🕷️

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

🎤 Behind the Scenes: How I Prepare for Every Ceremony

Many people see the 15-30 minutes I’m standing at the front of the ceremony.

What they don’t see is everything that happens beforehand.

Before every wedding, I spend time preparing because I believe your ceremony deserves more than simply reading from a script.

Here’s what goes into every ceremony:

📖 I pray for you and your future marriage.

🤝 I take time to get to know your story and what makes your relationship unique.

✍️ I personalize your ceremony so it reflects your personalities, values, and love story.

💍 I review the timeline and coordinate with your planner, photographer, DJ, and venue when needed.

🎤 I rehearse so your ceremony flows smoothly and naturally.

❤️ Most importantly, I remind myself that this isn’t just another event—it’s one of the most important moments in two people’s lives.

My goal isn’t simply to pronounce you husband and wife.

My goal is to help create a meaningful, Christ-centered ceremony that you’ll remember for the rest of your lives.

It is truly an honor every time a couple trusts me to be part of their wedding day.

Hi Friends, Let’s discuss the scripture Ecclesiastes 4:12, A Cord of Three Strands and its meaning…

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12

The Big Idea

Marriage was never meant to be lived alone.

When a husband and wife rely only on each other, life’s challenges can strain the relationship. But when Jesus Christ is at the center of the marriage, He becomes the third strand that strengthens, supports, and holds the relationship together.

A healthy marriage isn’t just about two people deeply in love—it’s about two people growing closer to God and, as a result, growing closer to one another.

What the Three Strands Represent

❤️ Husband

* Leads with love, humility, and sacrifice.
* Chooses faithfulness every day.

❤️ Wife

* Loves, encourages, and supports her husband.
* Builds a home filled with grace and respect.

✝️ God

* The foundation that holds everything together.
* Provides wisdom, forgiveness, peace, and unconditional love.

When all three strands are woven together, the marriage becomes stronger than either person could be alone.

Questions for Couples

1. What role do we want God to have in our marriage?
2. How can we encourage one another spiritually?
3. What habits can we begin now to keep Christ at the center of our relationship?
4. When conflict comes, how can we seek God’s wisdom before reacting?
5. What does a Christ-centered marriage look like to us?

Practical Challenge

This week, choose one way to intentionally invite God into your relationship.

Ideas include:

* Pray together each day.
* Read one chapter of the Bible together.
* Attend church together.
* Share one thing you’re thankful for about each other every evening.
* Pray over your future marriage and family.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for bringing us together. Help us build our relationship on a foundation that will stand through every season of life. Teach us to love one another with patience, grace, forgiveness, and humility. May You always be the center of our marriage, the third strand that holds us together when life becomes difficult.

Strengthen our love, deepen our faith, and guide every step we take together.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

⸻

Remember: A successful marriage isn’t built on perfect people. It’s built on two imperfect people who choose to love one another while keeping God at the center of their lives.
