Good morning, y’all! ☀️💕

I’m usually the “let’s handle it” person. Give me the problem, and I’m already trying to figure out what needs done. 😂 But even the person who handles things needs somewhere to lean.

📖 “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” — Romans 8:31 KJV

“God is for us.” Whew. Sometimes I need to sit with that before I jump into fixing, doing, and carrying.

I’ve seen God meet me in places I never wanted to be. There were tears, prayers, and days when showing up took everything I had. His love held me through them.

So today, I’m thankful I don’t have to run on Tammy power alone. This girl has a lot of people to love and things to do, and she needs Jesus through ALL of it! 🙌🏻💕

Ever notice how your brain can turn one little “what if” into a whole disaster movie? And somehow I’m the director, the cast, AND the audience. 🤦‍♀️😂

📖 Today’s reading: Mark 4:39–40 (NIV)
“Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

Jesus spoke, and the storm became still. The disciples had been panicking while the One who could command the wind was right there in their boat.

Whew. How often do I do that? I pray about something, then immediately start planning for every possible thing that could go wrong.

Having faith doesn’t mean I never get scared. But I can tell Jesus I’m scared without letting fear make every decision for me.

Before we give another “what if” the starring role, let’s remember Who’s in the boat. 🙌💛

Good morning, y’all! ☀️💗 My October scripture reading is all about fear—-God is telling me to punch fear in the belly!

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
—Psalm 56:3–4 NIV ✝️

My brain can take one little concern and turn it into a whole movie… complete with a terrible ending and a sequel. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 Anybody else?!

But look at those first words: “WHEN I am afraid.” Trusting God doesn’t mean I never get scared. Sometimes it means praying with a shaky voice, taking the next step with sweaty palms, and refusing to let my imagination write a story God hasn’t written.

I don’t have to figure out every possible outcome before breakfast. And neither do you. 💗

What’s one thing you need to hand over to God this morning? If it’s private, just leave a 🙏. You don’t have to explain it for Him to understand it.

🩷 BREAST CANCER FACT: Some treatment side effects can show up YEARS later.

Let’s talk about lymphedema—a word nobody puts on the cute pink T-shirts.

When lymph nodes are removed or damaged during breast cancer treatment, fluid can build up and cause swelling in the hand, arm, or chest. It can happen shortly after treatment—or years down the road.

New swelling, heaviness, or tightness deserves a call to your care team. Getting help early can make it easier to manage. 🩷

As a two-time survivor, I want awareness to include what happens AFTER the appointments slow down and everybody assumes you’re back to normal.

Keep checking on your people. We can be thankful to be alive AND still need support. Both things can be true. ❤️

Good morning, beautiful people! ☀️💋

“Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.”
— Psalm 27:14 NIV

“Wait” twice in one verse. Clearly, God knew some of us would try to sneak past the first one. 😂🙋‍♀️

I can stand at the microwave with 12 seconds left and think, “Good grief, hurry up.” So waiting on something that actually matters? Whew.

But look at what’s tucked between those two waits: be strong and take heart. There’s courage involved in living with an unanswered question. In showing up, loving your people, and doing today’s work while something you’ve prayed about is still unresolved.

You don’t have to put your whole life on pause while you wait. There are people to love and good things to enjoy right here—even before the answer comes. ❤️

October turns everything pink… but I want to talk about what happens when the pink comes down. 🩷

When the calendar changes, people are still going to appointments. Still waiting for answers. Still trying to figure out life in a body that feels different.

As a two-time breast cancer survivor, I can tell you that “treatment is over” doesn’t mean everything goes back to how it was.

Sometimes everybody else is ready to celebrate and move on, and you’re still trying to catch your breath.

So here’s my challenge, y’all: keep showing up after October. ❤️

Send the text. Ask how she’s REALLY doing. Invite her to lunch. Remember that she may still need someone to listen, even years later.

You don’t need the perfect words. “I’m thinking about you” is a pretty good place to start.

And to the woman who feels like she should be “over it” by now… you can be thankful to be alive AND still have hard days. You don’t owe anyone a brave face every single day.

God sees you, even on the days you don’t know how to explain what you’re feeling. 🩷🙏

Awareness gets a month. The people living through this deserve our love all year.

Before we start making all the plans and trying to handle everything ourselves… let’s take a minute and ask God to lead us. Yep, talking to myself here too! 🙋‍♀️😂

I can have a whole day planned before my feet hit the floor, but I want to make room for what HE has for me. Someone who needs encouragement. A moment that calls for patience. A chance to listen instead of having the last word.

Lord, help us trust You with today. Guide our words, our choices, and how we love the people You put in our path. Amen. 🙏❤️
