Somebody is retiring! After 24 years at SKC, Doug Dowis leaves a lasting legacy in the relationships he built, the markets he helped open, and the people he brought closer to SKC around the world.

Doug's career has been marked by leadership, commitment, and significant contributions. One of his many defining achievements was establishing SKC Asia in Singapore, extending SKC’s reach across the region. Through decades of relationship-building with international distributors and customers, Doug helped connect more OEHS professionals with SKC’s sampling solutions and expertise. Even as he transitioned toward semi-retirement, he continued to share his knowledge and support the relationships he worked so hard to build.

We've been talking with you about SKC Sorbent Tubes as a whole. Let's take a macro look at one important feature inside SKC Sorbent Tubes:

What does this smaller section do?

👉It helps detect sample breakthrough, when chemical v***rs or gases pass through the primary sorbent section without being retained.
