POV: the average San Diegan looking for one tiny piece of shade this week 😂☀️🌴
San Diego is feeling extra toasty! While El Niño may be contributing to warmer overall conditions, this week’s heat is also part of a broader weather pattern bringing unusually high temperatures to our region.
A friendly reminder from Family Pharmacy:
💧 Drink water regularly—even before you feel thirsty
🌳 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning
🧴 Wear sunscreen and lightweight clothing
🕐 Save outdoor activities for the cooler parts of the day
🚗 Never leave children or pets inside a parked car
👵 Check in on older family members, neighbors and anyone more sensitive to the heat
If you begin feeling dizzy, confused, nauseated or unusually weak, get out of the heat and seek help.
Stay cool, San Diego—and if you find a shade spot, protect it at all costs! 😅
