At the Cedar County Health Department, we offer testing at both our El Dorado Springs and Stockton offices for flu, COVID-19, and strep throat.

Please note: This is for testing only. The Cedar County Health Department does not provide treatment. If your test is positive or you need medical care, please follow up with your healthcare provider.

Did you know that the Cedar County Health Department has two Milk Depot locations where local moms can donate breast milk to help babies in need? We are proud to partner with The Milk Bank at both our El Dorado Springs and Stockton offices.

The demand for donor milk is growing. Donated breast milk provides an important source of nutrition for babies who need it most. If you are an eligible breastfeeding mother with extra milk to donate, your generosity can make a life-changing difference for a little one.

The Cedar County Health Department is proud to support local students by delivering hygiene supplies to our area schools through the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Grant provided by the State of Missouri.

After learning that local schools had lost previous grant funding for hygiene supplies and that school staff were using their own money to help meet students’ needs, we knew we wanted to help. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with our local schools to help ensure students have access to essential hygiene items and can feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

A special THANK YOU to the school nurses, social workers, administrators, teachers, and staff who go above and beyond for our children every day. Your dedication to supporting students does not go unnoticed!

We are thankful to the State of Missouri for supporting this initiative and to our local schools and community partners for working together to support Cedar County families.

The Cedar County Health Department will be closed Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day at our El Dorado Springs and Stockton offices.

We will reopen and resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th, at both locations.

Get your blood work done at the Cedar County Health Department. We offer convenient, affordable cash-pay lab services with clear, upfront pricing. We do not bill insurance, so there are no complicated claims to navigate and no surprise bills later.

How it works:
-No doctor’s order is needed for several of our routine wellness screenings!
-Some specific tests do require a provider’s order. Your doctor can send us the order, or you can bring it with you.
-We will draw your blood and once we have results, we can provide your results directly to you or send them to your provider of choice for seamless care.
