The thought of being an Organ Donor has always been important to me. For as long as I can remember I have had a little red heart on my drivers license indicating my desire to be a donor when the time comes. I never dreamed I would be a recipient. But I live every day grateful for Jesus and the donor that saved my life.
On Saturday, September 19th will be the Little Red Heart 5k and Fun Run. It is hosted by LifeShare Oklahoma to raise awareness of the need for organ donors and to help fund the work of the LifeShare organization. If you are interested in supporting this great cause, please consider participating in this event. Registration is open now at LittleRedHeart5K.org. If you register between Aug. 11-18 there is a 25% discount on the registration fee.
