So… what does a chiropractor actually do?

It sounds like a simple question, but the answer is probably a little bigger than most people expect.

Chiropractic care isn’t just about what hurts today. It’s about looking at how your body is moving and functioning, listening to what you’re experiencing, understanding what may be contributing to it, and helping you make informed decisions about your care.

And that can look different in every season of life.

The way we care for a newborn isn’t the way we care for an athlete. Pregnancy brings different needs than postpartum. Growing kids, busy parents, weekend warriors, grandparents... every body that walks through our doors has its own story.

That’s one of the things we love most about what we do.

October is National Chiropractic Health Month, and instead of filling your feed with another “Did you know chiropractic can…” post, we thought we’d use it as an opportunity to show you a little more of the why behind what we do here at EFC.
Why our doctors chose chiropractic. Why movement and function matter. Why we ask questions. And why we believe you should always be part of the conversation about your own care.

They grow fast. Like, REALLY fast. 🤍

One minute they’re tiny enough to curl up on your chest, and before you know it they’re crawling, climbing, running, falling, playing sports and somehow outgrowing another pair of shoes.

Today is National Child Health Day, and it feels like the perfect opportunity to celebrate the little people who make up such a big part of our EFC family.

Pediatric chiropractic care looks a little different than care for adults. It’s gentle, age-appropriate, and adapted to each child’s age, size and needs.

But one thing stays the same: parents are always part of the conversation.

Ask us questions. Let us explain what we’re doing and why. Learn about your options. And then make the decisions that feel right for your family.

Maybe it’s time we reintroduced ourselves. 🤍

If you’ve been around EFC for a while, you already know we’ve never really fit neatly into the box of “just a chiropractic office.”

And over the years, that has only become more true.

Eldon Family Chiropractic has grown into a collaborative space centered around whole-person, whole-family care. Chiropractic is still at the heart of what we do—but our team also brings together acupuncture, pregnancy and pediatric care, women’s health, functional health support, and other wellness services under one roof.

More importantly, we want this to be a place where you feel heard, educated, supported, and part of the conversation about your own care.
