✨ THYROID HEALTH & FERTILITY — SOMETHING I DON’T WANT YOU TO OVERLOOK

One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing patients reach goals they’ve been working toward for so long. ❤️

Recently, 3 of my patients who have been working with me on thyroid optimization have become pregnant. 🥹

While I would never say thyroid optimization caused a pregnancy, these stories are a beautiful reminder of how important thyroid health can be when we’re looking at the bigger picture of fertility.

Your thyroid plays an important role in:
• Menstrual cycle regulation
• Ovulation
• Hormonal balance
• Metabolism
• Supporting a healthy pregnancy

And sometimes, simply looking at whether your TSH falls within the “normal” range doesn’t tell the whole story.

My approach is to look at the whole picture — symptoms, thyroid markers, antibodies when appropriate, menstrual cycle patterns, medications, nutritional status and other factors that may be affecting how you feel and function.

If you’re struggling with infertility, irregular cycles, recurrent pregnancy loss, or simply feel like something isn’t right despite “normal” thyroid labs, it may be worth taking a closer look at your thyroid health.

This is what Direct Primary Care can look like. 🤍

A mom reached out because her child was sick and she wasn’t sure what to do.

Within a few hours, I was able to personally connect with her, ask questions, learn more about what was going on, and make a plan.

The next day, her child was seen virtually. But the care didn’t stop when the visit ended.

We stayed in communication throughout the illness. Mom was able to reach out with questions, I could offer guidance along the way, and together we monitored how her child was doing.

Thankfully, the child continued to improve. ❤️

This is one of the things I love most about Direct Primary Care.

It’s not just about having a doctor’s appointment.
