We are excited to share that ECC is now able to accept Municipal Health Benefit Program insurance, which provides coverage for many city and municipal employees!

Sore throats are making the rounds!

With everyone back in school and sharing all those lovely little germs, this is a good time to know the signs of strep throat.

Keep an eye out for:
• Sudden sore throat or pain when swallowing
• Fever
• Red or swollen tonsils
• Headache
• Tummy ache, nausea or vomiting, especially in kids
• Swollen or tender lymph nodes

Not every sore throat is strep, and symptoms alone can’t always tell the difference. A quick test can help determine what you’re dealing with and whether antibiotics are actually needed.
