Nothing replaces the power of human touch! 🤲🏻Serenity Equine understands the importance of human intuition and feel, providing completely hands-on equine bodywork & massage using various modalities and stretches.

No machines or fancy gadgets! Allowing your equine to express themselves and be vulnerable, in a safe space - associating positivity with human touch. Horses are naturally pretty stoic and can hide discomfort, which is why gaining their trust is so important so they can express themselves freely.

Increasing circulation, improving range of motion, releasing tension and trigger/stress points, reducing inflammation, and SO much more, all while aiding in a deeper connection between both horse AND human! We can also help identify (not diagnose) potential issues and concerns before they escalate.

🍂 Fall is here! Is bodywork still necessary for your horse during the cooler months? Yes!

Cooler weather results in increased inflammation, stiffness, and reduced movement and muscle elasticity.
This can negatively impact tissues, joints, and muscles! Horses with mild to severe arthritis can especially benefit from bodywork.

Serenity Equine utilizes various manual modalities (no gadgets, tools or machines!) each with their own distinct purpose, every session is tailored to meet the specific needs of your horse.

Wondering what's included in your very first bodywork session with us?
📋🐴🤲🏻

Our visits are always in-depth, detailed and thorough - why? Because EVERY horse is different.

Initial visits typically run anywhere from 1.5-2hrs, sometimes longer depending on the horse.
This helps us to best understand and get to know your horse - we want your equine partner to get the MOST out of their bodywork session.
Serenity Equine runs on the horse’s time! 🐴 ⏰ All sessions are horse-led.

What's included in an initial session?

✅Overall review of your equine’s history, nutrition plan, exercise, goals + any concerns
✅Comprehensive Static + Dynamic assessments (both in movement and at rest)
✅Thorough body palpation, checking mobility, restrictions, areas of tension/tightness/sensitivity & more
✅COMPLETELY hands-on (no fancy gadgets or tools!) full-body massage & bodywork using various modalities, followed by stretches
✅Following the session, you will receive a detailed report along with further recommendations.

We figure out the BEST plan for your horse, tailored to their individual needs!

Bodywork is beneficial for horses of ALL ages!
💡Did you know young horses need bodywork too? 💡This 2 year old has come a long way, we started off slow, and every session is horse-led. Less is more! She had such good releases and is understanding each session how good bodywork feels!

Bodywork can build trust by using gentle human touch and can also help with balance while they are still developing. It also improves coordination and body awareness. We can identify (not diagnose) potential issues and recognize their patterns as they grow and develop. Preventing longterm issues!
