Meet Winter Stoke 716 — a new annual Western New York gathering built around outstanding outdoor-adventure film, good company and the kind of community that brings people back year after year.

We're proud that the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program has been chosen as Winterstoke's inaugural beneficiary.

Why LASP? Because the freedom and joy of outdoor adventure should be accessible to more people. Our instructors help athletes discover what they can do, with individualized instruction and adaptive equipment that opens up the mountain.

Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, cyclist, mountain biker, surfer, music fan or simply someone who loves the outdoors, there's a place for you here.

🎬 Ski season starts with a movie night!

Our friends at Erie Ski Club are bringing Warren Miller's Days Off to the big screen on Saturday, November 21.

It's a chance to gather with fellow snow lovers, get excited for winter and celebrate the community that makes skiing special.

This year's features: a 50/50 cash raffle and a brand-new silent auction!

We're incredibly grateful to Erie Ski Club for continuing to support the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program. Their generosity helps make it possible for more athletes to experience the mountain on their own terms.

As we look ahead to winter at Holiday Valley, we're grateful for the people and organizations who help make adaptive skiing possible.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Ron Kubicki.

Ron was a longtime Director of Snow Sports at Holiday Valley, a former LASP Board member, and a passionate advocate for skiing and snow sports. Throughout his career, he helped shape and strengthen the skiing community, and LASP was fortunate to benefit from his guidance, encouragement, and support. Ron's leadership at Holiday Valley and within the ski industry left a lasting impact on countless instructors, students, and organizations.

We are deeply grateful for everything Ron did to help further the mission of the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program and create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the joy and freedom of skiing.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Ron's family, friends, and the entire Holiday Valley community.

💙⛷️ Thank you, Ron. Your legacy will continue to inspire us on and off the slopes.

It’s hard to put into words what Penguin Paddle 2026 meant to our program — but we’ll start with this:

To everyone who joined us at Holiday Valley …
To those who slid down the hill, cheered from the sidelines, bought merchandise, sold raffle tickets, donated auction items, worked the food tent, shared our posts, and encouraged friends to come…

You showed up in a big way.

Because of your generosity and enthusiasm, can continue providing adaptive ski instruction and specialized equipment to individuals of all abilities. Your support ensures our volunteer instructors receive the training they need, our equipment stays safe and up to date, and our students continue experiencing the freedom, confidence, and joy that adaptive skiing makes possible.

Events like Penguin Paddle remind us that this community believes deeply in inclusion and opportunity. And that belief changes lives — on and off the slopes.

From all of us at LASP: thank you for sliding, supporting, and standing with us. We are so grateful to do this work alongside you.

Our annual Penguin Paddle fundraiser at Holiday Valley is more than just a fun winter event—it’s what makes our mission possible. 💙

Funds raised directly support the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program, helping provide:

💛 Scholarships to ensure individuals with disabilities can access lessons
