The Raisig Clinic and Wellness Center Primary Care + Exercise | Our goal is to Find, Prevent, and Reverse Cardiovascular Disease. Your health is our priority. Movement is medicine.

About the Wellness Program:

You will have an assigned team which includes a doctor and nurse practitioner, a team of bachelor degreed exercise physiologists, and a supporting medical staff. Our clients are evaluated first with a comprehensible medical examination and cardiovascular testing. A thorough health history and medication discussion is part of the orientation into the program. A wellness prescription is initiated followed by an introduction to the exercise physiology department. Your healthcare provider will meet you monthly as you progress through the program. Our goal is to maximize your health and well-being while minimizing the need for prescription medications. Call us today ask about the Wellness Program!

This week is National Bone and Joint Health Action Week!

Bone Fun Facts:
1.) You were born with 300 bones, but as you age, they fuse together leaving you with a measly 206 bones.
2.) ​Every seven years, you develop a new skeleton because the collagen in bones constantly replenishes itself.
3.) ​When you hear that "creaking" sound in your bones as you flex your foot or other joint in your body, blame the arthritis that develops as your bone cartilage thins.
