๐ LETโS TALK ABOUT HEALTHY LIVING! ๐ฉท
Taking care of your health starts with small, everyday choices. While breast cancer cannot always be prevented, certain habits may help lower your risk and support your overall well-being. Breast cancer can affect both women and men.
๐ฅ Nourish your body. Enjoy a balanced diet with vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and other nutritious foods.
๐โโ๏ธ Keep moving. Find activities you enjoy. Regular physical activity and maintaining a healthy weight can help lower breast cancer risk.
๐ญ Avoid to***co and limit alcohol. If you smoke, support is available to help you quit. For cancer prevention, itโs best not to drink alcohol.
๐ Know whatโs normal for you. Be aware of changes in your breasts or chest, including size, shape, skin, or ni***es.
๐ฅ Stay on track with screening. Talk with your health care team about when to begin screening and how often, based on your age, personal history, and risk factors.
๐ Get changes checked. A new lump, unusual ni**le discharge, or another breast change deserves medical attention even if you recently had a normal mammogram. Most changes are not cancer, but getting checked matters.
Healthy habits cannot eliminate breast cancer risk. A diagnosis is never someoneโs fault. Knowing your body, getting recommended screenings, and seeking care for changes are all important parts of caring for yourself.
๐ฉท This Pink October, make time for your health and encourage someone you love to do the same.
Your health matters. Early detection can save lives. ๐
