Hi everyone! I’m Nicole, the face behind Bare Skin Aesthetics! 🤍 Whether you’ve been following me for a while or you’re just discovering my little business, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about the person behind the treatment chair!

I’m a Nurse with over 20 years of experience, a wife, a mom, and someone who has always had a passion for helping others feel their absolute best. Between raising my family, attending my kids’ sporting events (sadly this comes to an end soon😢), and running my business, life is definitely busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I truly believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. 2. I’m passionate about education and individualized treatments!

With my nursing background, I take skincare seriously! I love learning about new treatments, products, ingredients, and techniques. I’m constantly researching and expanding my knowledge so I can offer my clients the best possible care. I don’t believe skincare should be one-size-fits-all. Your skin is unique, and your treatments should be too! I’ll always be honest about what I believe will benefit your skin and what may not be necessary.

✨ Today, I Finally Took a Little Time for ME! ✨💆‍♀️

I honestly couldn’t tell you the last time I actually took time out of my busy life to have a facial and enjoy a little self-care for myself. And if you know me, you know that relaxing is NOT one of my strong suits! 😂

Being in the aesthetics industry, I find myself completely hyper-focused on everything being done to my skin. Instead of closing my eyes, relaxing, and enjoying the experience, I’m asking a million questions, paying attention to every product being applied, and mentally going through the entire facial routine. 🤦‍♀️

It’s definitely one of those “Do as I say, not as I do” situations!

One thing I have always told my clients is that I am absolutely NOT opposed to anything you choose to do for yourself to feel better in your own skin. Whether that’s Botox, fillers, a facelift, cosmetic surgery, or simply treating yourself to a facial, if it’s something YOU want to do because it makes YOU feel better and more confident, then do it! ❤️

We all deserve to look in the mirror and feel good about the person looking back at us. And nobody should feel guilty or judged for making those choices for themselves.

So today, on my way to my 90-minute facial, I actually had a little conversation with myself. 😂

“Nicole, you’re going to take these 90 minutes for YOURSELF. You’re going to practice your breathing exercises, stop analyzing every little thing being done to your skin, stop asking a million questions, and just RELAX!”

Now, am I going to tell you that I completely relaxed for those 90 minutes? Absolutely not! 😂 But did I do better than I normally would? YES! And I’ll take that as a win! 🙌

Today reminded me of something that I preach to my clients all the time but don’t always practice myself.

Self-care is SO much more than just your physical appearance. It’s about your mental health, your emotional well-being, slowing down, taking a break from the chaos, and allowing yourself to be taken care of for once.

And this doesn’t just apply to us moms, women, business owners, or people juggling a million things at once. Self-care is for EVERYONE, regardless of gender, age, or lifestyle.

Sometimes we get so caught up in taking care of everyone and everything else that we forget we deserve that same love, time, and attention.

So here’s your reminder, and apparently mine too: You don’t have to earn the right to take care of yourself. You deserve it simply because you’re YOU. ❤️

And maybe, just maybe, next time I’ll actually make it through an entire facial without asking so many questions! 😂💆‍♀️

I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. You spend years running them to practices, sitting through games, cheering from the sidelines, washing uniforms, celebrating the wins and encouraging them through the losses—and then suddenly you’re watching them walk onto the field for their Senior Night. ❤️⚽️

As a mom, I’m definitely feeling ALL the emotions today!

A little reminder from Bare Skin Aesthetics 🤍 I completely understand that life happens and sometimes plans have to change. However, when an appointment is missed without notice, that time cannot always be filled by another client. My time is just as important as yours, and each appointment is specifically reserved for you.

Moving forward, a credit card will be required on file when booking an appointment. If you no-show your scheduled appointment or fail to provide at least 24 hours’ notice, the card on file will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. I truly hate having to implement policies like this, but no-shows affect my business, my income, other clients who may have wanted that appointment, and time that I could have spent with my family. I appreciate each and every one of my clients and hope everyone understands that this policy simply allows me to protect my time while continuing to provide the best possible service. 🤍
