Tenay knows how painful the search for the right care professional can be. When she was in the throes of a health crisis, it took me her to three months of prayer, internet searching, website deciphering, emails, and phone calls to find her next right care professional (whether a provider, practitioner, or advisor). Too many people in chronic pain are met with the same answers everywhere: medicate, inject, or operate, often before anyone has looked closely at what's actually driving the problem.

Dr. Fawad Mian, a board-certified neurologist and regenerative medicine specialist, experienced that same cycle firsthand and discovered that the steroids meant to relieve his pain were quietly damaging the joints and tissue underneath.

Our founders, Tenay and Brett Benes, have spent over a decade navigating complex illness — ADHD, C-PTSD, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and ASD — alongside their child, who is also healing from ADHD. They know firsthand what it means to face a care system that wasn't built for you, in a workplace that wasn't built for you, without a community that truly understands what you're carrying.

That experience became the foundation of Care Curation Coaching — private coaching, group coaching, and real peer community for people navigating complex illness and the families who love them.
