You’ve done the therapy, the mindset work, the digging into your past.
So why are you still stuck?
I see so many women who are successful in so many areas of their lives, yet struggle with the same patterns behind closed doors.
They understand why they do what they do. They can explain their patterns, recognize their triggers, and trace them back to where they began.
And yet, when it comes to actually changing those patterns, they find themselves right back where they started.
Then comes the shame.
I know better. Why am I still doing this? What is wrong with me?
But what if the problem isn’t that you haven’t understood enough?
What if you’ve been trying to think your way out of something your nervous system is still experiencing as a threat?
When your system is stuck in survival mode, understanding a pattern doesn’t automatically mean your body feels safe enough to respond differently.
You can know that you’re allowed to have boundaries and still feel terrified of disappointing someone.
You can understand that you don’t have to earn your worth and still feel compelled to prove yourself.
You can know you’re safe in the present and still react as though you’re not.
This is why the type of support you receive matters.
Insight has its place. But sometimes, more insight isn’t what you need. You need support that works with your nervous system and helps you change the patterns that understanding alone hasn’t shifted.
You don’t need another reason to blame yourself for being stuck.
You may need a different approach to getting unstuck.
