Hi, my tribe 💘
The time has come to talk of difficult things...
One of the worst parts of owning a business (for me) is having to continuously establish my worth and then put a price tag on it.
I do what I do because I love what I do. Getting to learn about all the different types of bodies and pathologies and all the ways I can bring some relief to your BEing, is a passion of mine.
But even though it's a passion, it still costs me increasing amounts to make it happen (we all know exactly how many times I've cried and at what classes 😂🤣)
Every business etiquette class out there will tell you that you should increase your prices a certain percentage every year, and that you should implement that change every couple of years, blah, blah, blah. But it's just not that easy. I get stomach aches just thinking about having to have these conversations 😅🫠
But I really do pour into my craft behind the scenes, and my toolbelt holds some pretty cool s**t, I think. I'm proud of what we've bulit through our work together! And I can only hope that you guys can FEEL that!!
I've sat through WAY more classes over the past 3 years than I needed to (legit... I need 36 credits every 3 years... and by the time I renew in Spring, I will have around 140 credits 😅🙃🤓), simply because I want to know the information I seek. And because someone lying on my table is depending on me to go out there, get it, and bring it back!!
And I truly believe this is one reason you guys stay hoggin' my schedule 😜😘 because you CAN feel the difference between a passion and a job.
And that is truly the highest honor 🎖
So, now that I've yapped enough to hopefully justify the pain I'm about to inflict...
PRICE CHANGES STARTING JANUARY 1ST, 2027
30 mins = $60
Hour = $120
1.5 hr = $180
2 hr = $240
2.5 hr (NEW for 2027) = $300
3 hr = $360
I am also making some changes to my services offered. I have removed the option for 13 and under massages at a discounted price. I will also be updating descriptions and 'type of session' options on my booking site. (These things may be updated before 1/1/27)
And lastly, (hold on, we're almost there...) I am removing the option to "tip" when you pay! Because that's another thing that just makes me feel uncomfortable lol and because I want to just set my prices at what I feel is a fair compensation for that time we spend together.
So, we've got a few months before we swing into action. There is zero judgment if you need to cancel or reschedule existing appointments. I understand they were made a year in advance without the expectation that the prices might change, and sometimes we just gotta do what we gotta do! I respect it!!
