It’s a wonderfully botanical Thursday here at 🌿🜁 🜂 APOTHECARY ADDICT 🜃 🜄🌿! 🌼

Following this morning’s journey into the green world of the Lustral Grove Bar, I’m back with one final introduction from my newest trio of creations — and this one brings a little golden, creamy, herbaceous comfort to the apothecary! 🤎

Introducing **THE HONEYED ROSEMARY GOAT N’ OAT BAR** — the newest addition to my beloved Goat N’ Oat family!

At its heart is a beautiful gathering of raw materials: **goat’s milk, whole milk, and coconut milk**, blended with organic extra virgin olive oil, raw shea and mango butters, wholesome oats, and golden raw honey. 🥛🍯🌾

A touch of beeswax, creamy white kaolin clay, and wild-gathered tussah silk complete this thoughtfully crafted formula, creating a wonderfully rich, silky lather.

And then come the botanicals… 🌼🌿

Rosemary needles, calendula petals, elderflowers, and a little madder root lend their rustic beauty to this golden, garden-inspired bar.

**And the aroma? Just lovely.** ⚗️✨

Fresh, herbaceous rosemary meets the sunny brightness of sweet orange and bergamot, softened by the gentle, woody warmth of Atlas cedarwood.

Comforting without being heavy, herbal without being sharp, and beautifully fresh while retaining that cozy, honeyed character.

🌲🜃⚗️🌿✨ **Somewhere between the wild herb garden and the shadowy woodland… The Lustral Grove Bar was born.** ✨🌿⚗️🜃🌲

Happy Thursday from 🌿🜁 🜂 APOTHECARY ADDICT 🜃 🜄🌿 🌿Today, the botanical spotlight turns to **THE LUSTRAL GROVE BAR** — the second of my three newest creations, and perhaps the most mysterious of the little gathering. 🌙

Like its sister, Backyard Botanica, this bar begins with organic extra virgin olive oil patiently infused with botanicals hand-gathered from my own grounds: white clover, Creeping Charlie, strawberry leaves, and fleabane. 🌱🍃

But from there, Lustral Grove wanders down a rather different path…

French green clay, white kaolin, Japanese indigo, alkanet, and ratanjot root create its intriguing mineral-green complexion and dramatic, earthy marbling. Raw shea and mango butters, coconut milk, and beautiful botanical oils complete this thoughtfully crafted formula. 🜃🌲

**And the aroma? A little woodland mystery in itself.** ⚗️💚

Sweet orange and eucalyptus bring a bright, refreshing opening, while Atlas cedarwood, galbanum, wormwood, and calamus lend an unusual tapestry of cool woods, wild greenery, and earthy botanical depth.

Herbaceous. Woodsy. A touch enigmatic.

There’s something almost ancient about this combination — reminiscent of wandering through a shaded grove, brushing against wild herbs, and breathing in the cool, green air.

Finished with dried eucalyptus, orange peel, and poppy seeds, each bar carries its own little expression of woodland artistry. 🌿✨

🜃⚗️🌿🌸✨ **Every collection has its beginnings… and this one began in my own backyard.** ✨🌸🌿⚗️🜃

A closer look at a new favorite creation from my little apothecary! 🌼

First in the spotlight is **The Backyard Botanica Bar** — the first of my three newest botanical creations, and one particularly close to my heart. 🤎

This bar began long before the soap pot came out… with gathering herbs from my own grounds, drying botanicals, and patiently infusing organic extra virgin olive oil with white clover, Creeping Charlie, strawberry leaves, and fleabane. 🌱🍃

From there, a rather lovely gathering of ingredients came together: tamanu oil, frankincense-and-myrrh-infused jojoba, raw shea and mango butters, coconut milk, white kaolin clay, and a colorful assortment of lavender, chamomile, marigold, and rose petals. Naturally colored with earthy roots, clays, and garden greens. 🜃🌸

And the **scent**… oh, the scent! ⚗️💚

A beautiful, entirely natural composition of lavender, sweet orange, clary sage, ylang ylang, and a delicate touch of clove. Herbal, softly floral, a little earthy, and wonderfully comforting.

**If I could bottle one signature scent to represent my little apothecary, this might very well be it.** 🌿✨

There’s something about the way these aromatics come together that feels so much like what Apothecary Addict is all about — the garden, the old-world apothecary, and the simple pleasure of working with extraordinary natural materials.

**Happy Sunday from the apothecary…** ⚗️🌿🪒✨

A little glimpse at three new shave bars **settling into their cure and beginning to come into their own.**

Three personalities. Three naturally composed scents. Three marbled little worlds made for brush, bowl, steel, and ritual. 🜂🜃

One is *wooded, resinous, and grounded*🌲
One is *brisk, windswept, and coastal*🌊
And one is *bright, sunlit, and citrus-laced*🍊

Each fragrance is composed entirely from **fine natural aromatic materials** — layered botanicals, woods, resins, citrus, herbs, and other traditional perfumery materials chosen for nuance rather than sheer strength. These aren’t meant to announce themselves from across the room; they’re meant to unfold with warm water and a shave brush, becoming part of the ritual without competing with whatever aftershave or cologne follows. ⚗️🌿

And that lather… 🪒 A damp brush loaded directly from the puck builds into a dense, creamy, finely bubbled foam with beautiful cushion, glide, and staying power. Exactly what I hoped for.

Apothecary Addict will be on vacation from May 21 through June 19 as I rest, refill the herb jars, gather inspiration, and let the summer magic steep a little longer ✨🌿🕯️

Orders placed during this time will ship June 20–22 📦💌

What a lovely weekend it turned out to be. Despite a little rain threatening in the distance, Saturday’s Spring Funk in the City was filled with sunshine, kind faces, beautiful conversations, music drifting through Haynie’s Corner, and so much support for local artists and makers. 🌞🧺🌷

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by the APOTHECARY ADDICT booth, shared kind words, picked up something handmade, or simply lingered for a moment to chat. These gatherings always leave me feeling inspired and deeply grateful. ✨🌿

And a special shoutout to my sweet neighboring booth friends at Moonlight Hollow 🌙🪄🌾

It was such a joy sharing the day alongside them — trading little moments between customers, soaking in the spring air together, and helping one another through the gentle rhythm of setup and closing time. Their warmth and kindness added something truly lovely to the day. ✨
