Celebrating Sensory Differences 🌈

At Mysa Autism Center, we know that every child experiences the world in their own unique way. Some children seek movement, others prefer quiet spaces, and some find comfort in specific sounds, textures, or routines. Those differences aren't something to change, they're something to understand, respect, and celebrate.

We support sensory needs by creating individualized environments, offering sensory-friendly spaces, following each child's lead, and building on their strengths. By honoring the way each child experiences the world, we help them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

Because there is no one "right" way to experience the world, and every sensory profile deserves to be valued. 💙

Everyone, meet Coty Wichman, BCBA! 👋✨

With 8+ years of experience working with children with special needs, Coty brings a wealth of experience in special education and Applied Behavior Analysis to the Mysa team.

She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Southern Indiana. She is passionate about providing high-quality care and helping children build meaningful skills that support greater independence and quality of life.

Today, we're celebrating two incredible years of growth, learning, connection, and meaningful moments. What started as a vision has grown into a community built on support, compassion, and a shared commitment to helping children thrive.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your children's journeys and for allowing us to be part of your lives. Your support, partnership, and encouragement have meant everything to us.
