Posted @withregram β’ @burkecrossfit Friday Night Lights (FNL).Β This event is basically a social, that will happen every Friday of the Open season, and members are encouraged to bring food, supplies, dress up, take pictures, etc.Β This will happen starting with the 5:30pm class on Friday.
The first heat is the 5:30pm class heat. Attend the class for coach led warmup and pointers! If you prefer to come later, additional time slots are available after the 5:30pm class. These slots are posted in Pike 13 after the Open Announcement Thursday afternoon to ensure the slots allow enough time for the WOD. The additional time slots are not classes, so athletes are responsible for pre-WOD warm-ups and preparation. Remember, the time slot is GO TIME! If an athlete signs up for 6:30pm, then 6:30pm is when the WOD begins so show up earlier to warmup.
Sign-up is only required for athletes participating in the WOD. If anyone wants to come cheer and stay for the social activities, then 6pm is probably a safe time to expect the very first heat.Β
Open Teams are encouraged to send representatives to participate in any time slot 5:30pm and after. Athletes will be arranged to compete βhead-to-headβ during each slot, if enough team members participate! Donβt worry, scores or scales donβt matter - only PRs and participation!

If you cannot make a Friday class, you have until Monday at 5 pm EST to do the workout, but CFB will not run any formal classes for the Open workout after Friday.Β
If you need to do a workout that is not on a Friday, you will need a judge.Β Please reach out to your team Captain to arrange for a judge. You can do the workout during Open gym on Sunday or Monday before 2p.m.(Saturdayβs contact Coach Jess for request and details [email protected])
