Introducing our newest capability: the ground ambulance that no longer requires the ground. When the weather keeps the helicopters down, we’ll just take the ambulance up. 🚑🚀

Long after most of Osage County has gone to sleep, the work continues.

At 4 a.m., two ambulance services from different communities stood together far from home, each carrying the same mission: to provide lifesaving care to the critically ill and injured.

Different uniforms. Different ambulances. One county. One calling.

When our communities need us most, distance & darkness do not change the commitment. We answer the call, care for the patient, and we find a way together.

There is something so special about reuniting with patients after they survive what a lot of times is unsurvivable.

This week our Sugar Creek crew, Isaac Elrod (paramedic) and Hailey Rivers (EMT/paramedic student) spent time with Kathy when she stopped by to thank them for helping give her a second chance at life after her heart stopped beating. We presented all 3 of them with Code Save coins to help remember what they accomplished through excellent healthcare and a fighting spirit. We are so proud of our crew and so happy for Kathy to have made such an incredible recovery.

🚨 Move Over. Slow Down. Save a Life. 🚨

When emergency responders, tow operators, highway crews, or stranded motorists are stopped along the highway, they are working only feet away from passing traffic. One distracted or speeding driver can change a life forever.

Oklahoma’s Move Over Law is more than a traffic requirement. It is a simple way to protect the people who protect and assist our communities.

When you see flashing lights or hazard lights ahead:

➡️ Move over when it is safe to do so.
🐢 If you cannot move over, slow down.
👀 Stay alert and give roadside workers room to work.

They have families waiting for them at home. Help make sure they get there.

Move Over. It’s the law. It could save a life.

A person may not remember every detail of their first few weeks at a new job, but they will always remember the people who made them feel like they belonged.

Tyler Hilbert did more than answer questions or make shifts more enjoyable. He welcomed a new employee into the team with kindness, humor, and genuine inclusion. Without being asked, Tyler turned an unfamiliar environment into a place where someone felt comfortable, supported, and valued.

That is what being a great coworker looks like. It is not always a grand gesture. Sometimes, it is simply noticing the person who is still trying to find their place and making sure they know they already have one.

Tyler, thank you for being the kind of person who makes our team stronger simply by being part of it.
