A MELTDOWN ISN’T BAD BEHAVIOR. IT’S OVERWHELM.

When an autistic child has a meltdown, they need safety, patience, and understandingβ€”not punishment or shame.

✨ Stay calm. Reduce sensory overload. Give them time and space.

Remember, every child is different. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is help them feel safe.
