CDC Ebola Guidance for International Travelers - levels of risk

CDC is responding to an outbreak of Ebola disease caused by Bundibugyo virus in remote areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

To date, no cases of Ebola disease have been confirmed in the United States because of this outbreak. The overall risk to the American public and travelers remains low. If a case was diagnosed in the United States, the risk of Ebola spreading in the United States is also low due to the strength of our public health system and infection control measures.

🩺 **CNHD IS SEEKING A PHYSICIAN TO SERVE ON OUR BOARD OF HEALTH!**

The Central Nevada Health District (CNHD) is seeking a licensed physician who is interested in helping shape the future of public health in our communities.

The Board of Health provides governance and oversight for public health programs and initiatives throughout the district. Physician representation is essential to ensuring our public health decisions are informed by medical expertise and the healthcare needs of our communities.

**Who can apply?**
✔️ Licensed to practice medicine in Nevada
✔️ Resides in Churchill, Eureka, Mineral, or Pershing County, or the City of Fallon
✔️ Interested in serving a two-year term on the Board of Health

📅 **Deadline:** November 8, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.
