Strong doesn’t mean struggling alone. 💚

In agriculture, strength is often measured by how much we can carry, how hard we work, and how we keep going when things get tough.

But strength isn’t just about pushing through.

It’s also recognizing when the load has become too heavy. It’s having an honest conversation. It’s reaching out instead of trying to handle everything ourselves.

Farmers, ranchers, and agricultural families face challenges that aren’t always visible from the outside. And too often, those struggles are carried quietly.

On World Mental Health Day, let’s remember that taking care of our mental health is just as important as taking care of our land, livestock, equipment, and everyone who depends on us.

You can be strong and still need support.

💚 Farm to Farm Services — Supporting the mental health of our agricultural communities.

Same view. Different morning.

I’ve looked across this water more times than I could count, but on this morning the fog coming off the lake made me stop and watch.

It’s easy to think we need to go somewhere new or do something extraordinary to experience something beautiful.

Sometimes we just need to pay attention to what’s already around us.

What have you noticed lately that made you stop for a minute?

Apparently the official rule is: ignore the perfectly good beds and sleep wherever you land. 😂

Maybe they’re onto something.

We can get pretty good at treating rest like something we have to earn — after the work is done, after everyone else is taken care of, after we’ve been productive enough.

But rest isn’t a reward for exhaustion.

Sometimes it’s simply what we need.

So if your Sunday includes doing a little less, moving a little slower, or even taking a nap beside the perfectly good bed… consider this your permission. 😉

What does rest look like for you today?

You’ve watched them put in the work.

The practices. The conditioning. The repetition. The hours spent building their skills.

And then sometimes, when the pressure is on, you can see something get in the way.

Maybe your athlete:

* can’t seem to shake off a mistake and it affects the rest of the game.
* overthinks instead of trusting what they know how to do.
* gets rattled by an opponent, coach, crowd, or expectations.
* performs confidently in practice but struggles to access that same confidence in competition.
* knows exactly what they should do, but in the moment their body seems to respond differently.

That doesn’t necessarily mean they need to practice harder or “just be more confident.”

Sometimes the barrier isn’t skill—it’s the brain and body holding onto the pressure, fear, or memory of what happened before.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can be used for performance enhancement to help athletes reduce the emotional charge connected to mistakes, pressure, fear of failure, or other experiences that may be getting in the way of performance.

The goal isn’t to change the athlete they are. It’s to help them trust the training they’ve already done and access their skills when it matters.

🏈 Football
🏐 Volleyball
🏃 Cross country — and other sports and performance activities.

Performance enhancement sessions are available for student athletes in Minnesota and North Dakota.
