Community Uplift Program We are a person-centered agency offering 1915i, 1915c, Community Connect, and Free Through Recovery.

Community Uplift Program was founded on the idea of inclusivity with emphasis on providing support, resources, and assistance in areas of mental health, recovery, housing stability, and more for anyone in the community. We currently offer care coordination and certified peer support services through Community Connect, Free Through Recovery, and 1915i. We also have a free legal kiosk and offer notarizing on a sliding fee scale. We believe that no matter who you are, where you come from, what you look like, or how much money you have, it shouldn’t prevent you from having a welcoming place to support you in challenging times. Support should also be provided during the positive times in your life. We believe in a person-centered approach and meet you where you’re at, no matter what phase of your journey you’re in.

Make Your To-Do List Work for You!

Ever feel like your to-do list is a mile long? You’re not alone! One way to make your day feel more manageable is to focus on what matters most.

1. Start with a plan: Write down your tasks for the day.
2. Prioritize your top tasks: Identify what’s most important or time-sensitive.
3. Tackle the big things early: If you can, work on your highest-priority tasks when you first start your day.
4. Celebrate progress: Every task you complete is a step forward—even the small ones!

Remember, being productive isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about using your time and energy intentionally. And if your day doesn’t go as planned? Give yourself grace, adjust your list, and keep moving forward.

A little planning can go a long way! What’s one task you’re prioritizing today? Let us know in the comments!

Community Uplift Program will be closed Monday, October 12th, in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Indigenous Peoples' Day is an opportunity to recognize and honor the histories, cultures, traditions, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. It is also a time to learn about the history of Indigenous communities in the United States and acknowledge the experiences that have shaped Native communities across generations.

At Community Uplift Program, we believe learning about the histories and experiences of the people who make up our communities helps us build greater understanding, respect, and connection.

We encourage everyone to take some time on this day to learn, listen, reflect, and celebrate Indigenous cultures and communities. đź’ś

Our office will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 13th.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

October is a time to raise awareness, show support, and remind our community about the importance of breast health. đź’—

Breast cancer can affect people from all walks of life, which is why awareness, regular screenings, knowing your own body, and talking with your healthcare provider are so important.

This month, we honor those who are currently facing breast cancer, celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and recognize the families, friends, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who provide support along the way.

Let’s use this month as an opportunity to learn, encourage, support, and remind one another that no one has to face a difficult journey alone.

đź’— Wear pink. Start a conversation. Schedule your screening. Show support.

🍂 Hello, October! 🍂

There’s something special about the start of a new season. As the leaves begin to change and the air gets a little cooler, October gives us a chance to pause, reset, and look ahead.

Maybe you have goals you’re still working toward this year. Maybe you have something new you want to try, a habit you want to build, or simply a desire to take better care of yourself and those around you.

Remember—you don’t have to accomplish everything at once. Small steps still move you forward.

Let October be a reminder that there is still time to work toward your goals, make meaningful changes, and celebrate how far you’ve already come.
