The year is winding down, but your deductible may still be working for you! If you’ve been putting off a sleep study, CPAP supplies, or other sleep care, now may be a good time to check where you stand with your insurance deductible. Before the year ends, check with your insurance provider to see what benefits you’ve already met and what may still be available.

A little planning now could help you make the most of your benefits before they reset.

A few of our team members spent Saturday at the Dakota Sleep Society Conference last Saturday! It was a great chance to step away from the usual day-to-day, connect with others in the sleep community, and bring home some new ideas to share with our team.

Always good people, good conversations, and a little more sleep knowledge!πŸ˜„

Fall can change more than your wardrobe. It can change your sleep routine, too.

With earlier sunsets, cooler temperatures, and schedules shifting after summer, your body may start feeling sleepy at different times. Keeping a consistent bedtime and wake time can help your circadian rhythm adjust to those seasonal changes and keep your sleep on track.

πŸ‚As fall settles in, let consistency be part of your routine.

A couple of our team members headed to Minnesota for the MAMES: Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services conference, held September 30 through October 2! With two full days of education, a packed display hall, great meals, and plenty of opportunities to connect, there was a lot to take in.

Some learning, some networking, and a few good conversations along the way... We’re glad our team had the chance to be part of it!

Sleepy or just tired? They are not the same.

😴 Sleepy means your brain wants to sleep. Think heavy eyelids, frequent yawning, or drifting off during quiet activities.
😴 Tired means your body or mind is low on energy. You may feel drained or unfocused without actually wanting to fall asleep.

If you are regularly feeling very sleepy during the day despite getting enough sleep, it may be worth taking a closer look at your sleep health.

Your tracker adds up your total hours of sleep each night, but that number alone doesn't tell the whole story. Your body clock, also known as your circadian rhythm, matters just as much. Sleeping 7 to 9 hours at a consistent time each night generally supports better rest than getting those same hours at different times each day.

Getting the right amount of sleep is important at every age, although the amount you need changes throughout life. If your tracker shows your sleep timing shifting from night to night, that pattern is worth paying attention to as well.

If you are consistently struggling with your sleep or waking up tired, our team can help you better understand what is happening and find the right next steps for better rest. Talk with your doctor and schedule a sleep study with us today! 😴
