Good News! Amani Life Counseling is now a contracted provider for a new EAP-like insurance program called Curative Health! Reach out if you work for an employer with this plan- $0 copays/$0 deductibles!

Amani Life Counseling is also a provider now for the Michigan State University's Welltrack Connect program. MSU students are given counseling "credits" to use with contracted providers, so if you know of a student seeking support, feel free to pass along our name!

I was happy to have received a commissioned print of my office from Logan, an artist at The Mercantile Nonprofit in downtown Farmington. I love all the details he included, even my dog Calypso!

Yes it’s okay to vent in therapy. But let’s not ONLY vent. Let’s figure out how to fix it! I think some people think therapy is just a venting session. But you can do that with your friends!
I also want to hear your successes for the week. Tell me what challenges you overcame. Tell me what stressors you had and how you handled them! Let me help you get to the root of stuck patterns that aren’t working for you and let’s celebrate your wins together!!
