🌸 Planting Seeds of Hope for Almost Three Decades 🌸

For almost three decades, Four Corners Cancer Center has been planting seeds of hope, compassion, and healing in our community.

Every patient we care for, every family we support, and every life we touch is part of something much greater than ourselves.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are reminded that the seeds we plant today( through education, early detection, research, and compassionate care) can make a difference for generations to come.

We have watched courage grow, witnessed incredible strength, and shared countless moments of hope with the people who have trusted us with their care.

Almost 30 years later, our commitment remains the same: to keep planting seeds of hope, one patient, one family, and one tomorrow at a time. 💗

A Story of Family and Hope 🎀

When Tammy was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer in 2024, she faced treatment with determination and an incredible support system by her side.
Her daughter came with her to appointments, and throughout chemotherapy, Tammy continued working and doing her best to keep life moving forward.

She remembers being reassured, "Don't worry, the staff takes great care of you" For Tammy, that care helped lift some of the weight that comes with a cancer diagnosis.

Her two granddaughters were also a very special source of inspiration throughout her journey, giving her another reason to keep pushing forward on the difficult days.

Tammy is looking forward to getting back to the things she enjoys( especially scrapbooking) and spending time with the people she loves most.

Tammy, thank you for allowing Four Corners Cancer Center to be part of your journey. Stories like yours remind us why hope, family, and compassionate care matter so much.

A breast cancer diagnosis can bring many questions, especially when it comes to treatment. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on the type and stage of breast cancer, treatment may include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy or a combination of these.
Understanding your options is an important part of your care. Talk with your care team about the benefits, risks, and side effects of each treatment and what is right for you.

A Story of Early Detection, Fast Action and Preventive Care.

When Rachelle first felt pain in her breast and discovered a lump, she made an appointment with her primary care provider. A mammogram and ultrasound followed, and after a biopsy, she received the news no one expects to hear: breast cancer.

Everything moved quickly after that. Rachelle came to Four Corners Cancer Center and met Dr. Neidhart. She went through surgery and then chemotherapy.

For Rachelle, one of the hardest parts was processing the diagnosis. There was so much to take in, from adjusting to changes in her self-image to getting through the difficult days of chemotherapy. As a mother of two boys and two girls, her family became an important source of strength throughout her treatment.

She was grateful to be able to continue working through much of her journey, taking several weeks off after surgery. She also learned how important support can be and found that connecting with others going through cancer can make a real difference.

Rachelle describes Dr. Neidhart as very informative and appreciates the time he and the team at Four Corners Cancer Center took to answer what she jokingly calls her “one million questions.”

On September 15, 2026, Rachelle finished chemotherapy, an important milestone in her journey.

Today, Rachelle hopes her story encourages others to take preventive care seriously. Her message is to keep up with your annual checkups and recommended screenings, pay attention to changes in your body, and don’t postpone preventive care.

For Rachelle, taking care of yourself today can make all the difference tomorrow.

This month, we come together to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and support everyone affected by breast cancer.

At Four Corners Cancer Center, we encourage women to stay on top of their annual checkups, recommended mammograms, and preventive care. Taking the time to care for yourself and knowing what is normal for your body matters.
