🚨 PLOT TWIST: PRIMA ISN’T A JUICE BAR! 😂🌿

We’re a Holistic Wellness Center that just happens to have a pretty phenomenal juice bar! 🍓🥥

And judging by some of the conversations we’ve been having lately, we realized something…

A lot of people know us for our juices, smoothies, and plant-based food, but don’t necessarily know what else happens behind our doors!

So let’s talk about it.

At Prima Elements, we’ve always believed that wellness isn’t just about what you eat. It’s also about how you move, how you rest, how you manage stress, and how intentionally you care for yourself.

That’s why we’ve created a space where you can explore services like wellness consultations, red light therapy, infrared therapy, ionic foot detox, yoga, Reiki, sound healing, colon hydrotherapy, crystal light therapy, relaxation experiences, and wellness education.

BUT TODAY, LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS AÇAÍ BOWL! 👀🫐

Because this isn’t your average frozen fruit bowl!

🥥 Made from scratch. We prepare our bowls with intention, using real ingredients rather than relying on artificial sweeteners.

🍓 Naturally delicious. Fruit brings its own sweetness, and our toppings add layers of texture, flavor, and nourishment.

🌱 Plant-based goodness. Açaí bowls can provide fiber and beneficial plant compounds, depending on the ingredients and toppings.

💚 Made with purpose. We believe nutritious food should be satisfying, beautiful, and enjoyable without compromising on the quality of the ingredients.

And here’s what makes Prima a little different…

You don’t have to book a wellness service to enjoy our food!

✨ Coming in for a service session? Grab an açaí bowl afterward.

✨ Finished your yoga or sound healing experience? Nourish yourself before heading back into your day.

✨ Working downtown or passing through Fayetteville? Stop in for something fresh.

✨ Never experienced any of our holistic services? That’s perfectly fine, too! Come for the food, enjoy the atmosphere, and discover the rest when you’re ready.

Because wellness shouldn’t feel intimidating, complicated, or exclusive.

And here’s where we want to challenge the conversation just a little…

We hear people say they want healthier options.

We hear that our community needs more places offering intentional, plant-based food.

We hear that people want businesses that genuinely care about their well-being.

But are we making space in our everyday routines to support the very options we’re asking for?

That’s not a judgment. It’s a question we’re asking ourselves, too.

Convenience matters. Affordability matters. Location matters. And sometimes the healthier choice isn’t the easiest choice.

As we continue reflecting on Prima’s future, we’re learning that creating something valuable is only part of the equation. Making it accessible, recognizable, and sustainable matters just as much.

👇 SO LET’S HEAR FROM YOU!

If you’ve had one of our açaí bowls, what’s your favorite part?

If you haven’t, what’s stopping you from giving one a try?

And did you know we were an entire holistic wellness center beyond the juice bar? 👀

We’re truly passionate about your wellness. But we also want to understand what wellness looks like for YOU.

Come for the açaí bowl. Stay for the experience. Discover Prima at your own pace. 🌿💚

🚨 WHAT IF WE STOPPED CALLING IT YOGA? WOULD YOU FINALLY GIVE IT A CHANCE?

Let’s continue this uncomfortable but necessary community conversation.

Over the past few days, we’ve been listening. Really listening.

And two things have become increasingly clear about Prima Elements:

📍 A lot of people aren’t particularly fond of our Downtown Fayetteville location.

🌿 And a surprising number of people still don’t know what services we actually provide.

That’s a lot to sit with as a small business that has spent years investing in its community.

But rather than defend ourselves, make excuses, or dismiss the feedback, we want to explore it.

TONIGHT, LET’S TALK ABOUT YOGA.

For the past 12 years, we’ve offered yoga through Prima Elements.

Over time, our public class schedule has become smaller as we’ve transitioned into more private sessions, contracted programs, and community partnerships.

It wasn’t necessarily the original vision, but sometimes you have to pivot to remain sustainable.

And there’s something someone said years ago that has stayed with us.

“Your yoga studio isn’t aesthetically pleasing.”

At first, that was difficult to hear.

But as we’ve evolved, we’ve started to recognize something much bigger.

Our society has developed a very specific IMAGE of what wellness is supposed to look like.

Beautiful studios. Perfect lighting. Expensive equipment. Coordinated outfits. Luxurious surroundings.

And there’s nothing inherently wrong with appreciating a beautiful space.

But have we reached a point where the appearance of wellness matters more than the experience itself?

📸 Take a look at our yoga room.

This is where people have stretched, breathed, moved, rested, challenged themselves, and learned how to reconnect with their bodies.

It’s not a luxury retreat.

It’s a room dedicated to practice.

And maybe the bigger question isn’t whether our room is aesthetically pleasing.

MAYBE THE QUESTION IS WHETHER WE’VE BEEN EXPLAINING WHAT HAPPENS INSIDE OF IT IN A WAY PEOPLE CAN ACTUALLY CONNECT WITH.

Because here’s something we’ve been considering…

What if we stopped calling it Yoga?

What if we called it:

🧘🏽‍♀️ STRETCH CLASS — A place to improve mobility, gently release tension, and move your body without the pressure of a traditional workout.

🌬️ BREATHING CLASS — A guided experience focused on breathing patterns, relaxation, and becoming more aware of how your body responds to stress.

🧠 NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION — A space to practice grounding, mindful movement, breathwork, and techniques that may help your body settle after a demanding day.

🌿 MINDFUL MOVEMENT — An opportunity to slow down, develop body awareness, and reconnect with yourself.

💛 REST & RESET — An intentional hour where you don’t have to produce, perform, achieve, or prove anything.

Would any of those names make you more likely to participate?

Because technically, these experiences can all exist within the practice of yoga.

Yet we’ve noticed that the word yoga can sometimes create an immediate perception.

“I’m not flexible enough.”

“That’s not really my thing.”

“I don’t know how to do yoga.”

“I don’t want to sit around chanting.”

“I need something more practical.”

And perhaps our responsibility as wellness educators is to help people understand that yoga isn’t limited to the version they’ve seen represented on social media.

You don’t have to be flexible to begin. You don’t have to identify as spiritual. And you certainly don’t have to look a certain way.

You simply have to be willing to experience something different.

But now let’s address the other elephant in the room.

DOWNTOWN FAYETTEVILLE.

We’ve heard the concerns.

Parking. Convenience. Accessibility. Personal preferences about visiting downtown.

We recognize that location can genuinely influence whether someone chooses to support a business.

But we also wonder…

If the service genuinely met a need in your life, would our location still prevent you from experiencing it?

And if the answer is yes, we want to understand why.

Not to argue with you.

Not to convince you that your experience is wrong.

But because those answers matter when we’re deciding what the next chapter of Prima Elements should look like.

So today we’re opening the floor to an honest conversation.

👇 FAYETTEVILLE, WE HAVE SOME QUESTIONS.

1. Would you be more interested in a Stretch Class, Breathing Class, Rest & Reset, or Nervous System Regulation session than something simply advertised as Yoga?

2. Looking at our actual studio photograph, would you feel comfortable practicing here? What would make the space more inviting?

3. Does our Downtown Fayetteville location discourage you from visiting? Is it parking, convenience, accessibility, or something else?

4. Before reading this post, did you know Prima Elements offered yoga and private wellness experiences?

And here’s the question that might make all of us a little uncomfortable:

🔥 ARE SMALL BUSINESSES FAILING TO OFFER WHAT THE COMMUNITY NEEDS, OR ARE WE SOMETIMES FAILING TO COMMUNICATE THE VALUE OF WHAT WE ALREADY OFFER?

Maybe it’s both.

And we’re willing to acknowledge our part in that.

Twelve years of teaching yoga have taught us something valuable.

You cannot grow if you’re unwilling to listen, adapt, and sometimes release your attachment to how you thought things were supposed to be.

We’re not interested in maintaining an image of perfection while quietly struggling to understand what our community needs.

We’d rather have the uncomfortable conversation.

Because at the end of the day, a beautiful studio means very little if nobody feels welcome inside it.

And an incredible service cannot create meaningful impact if nobody knows it exists.

So help us understand. Don’t just tell us to keep going. Tell us what would actually bring you through our doors.

We’re listening. 🌿

🚨 WOULD YOU ACTUALLY MISS PRIMA ELEMENTS IF WE CLOSED OUR DOORS? 🚨

No sugarcoating. No sympathy comments. We want the TRUTH. 👀

This has been one of the most challenging years we’ve experienced as business owners. It’s also been one of the most abundant, transformative, and fulfilling.

We’ve taken risks. We’ve invested. We’ve expanded. We’ve poured our hearts, finances, time, and energy into creating something that goes beyond a traditional wellness center.

But here’s the uncomfortable conversation that more small businesses need to have:

Just because a business is loved doesn’t mean it’s sustainable.

And just because a community says it supports a business doesn’t always mean that support translates into keeping its doors open.

So we’re asking ourselves some difficult questions:

🌱 Do we CONTINUE building what we’ve created?

🌱 Do we PIVOT into something more sustainable?

🌱 Or do we gracefully say, “See you later,” and allow this chapter to close?

NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU.

We’re conducting a little community reality check, and we need your most honest feedback.

1. What could Prima Elements be doing MORE of that would genuinely bring you through our doors?

2. What’s stopping you from visiting us more frequently? Pricing? Location? Parking? Hours? Services? Communication? Or something else entirely?

3. Are there products, foods, classes, or wellness services you wish we offered—or things we currently offer that you don’t find valuable?

4. Do you feel connected to Prima Elements as a community space, or do you simply see us as another business?

5. If Prima Elements disappeared from downtown Fayetteville tomorrow, what would you actually miss?

6. And here’s the question that may sting a little: Is there truly a need for Prima Elements, or have we been trying to fulfill a need that our community isn’t prioritizing?

We’re not sharing this to generate pity, donations, or empty encouragement.

We’re sharing it because sustainability requires honesty, not just positivity.

We have to consider the sustainability of our location, our pricing, our customer relationships, our products, our services, and even ourselves as the people responsible for keeping it all alive.

We’ve spent years asking how we can serve our community.

Now we’re asking our community: What would make you choose us?

And if the answer is nothing, we need to hear that too.

Because sometimes the most courageous thing a business owner can do isn’t to keep pushing.

Sometimes it’s to listen, evolve, or recognize when a chapter has fulfilled its purpose.

💚 So Fayetteville, let’s have the uncomfortable conversation.

Would you fight to see Prima Elements remain, would you welcome a different version of us, or would you simply wish us well?

👇🏾 COMMENT HONESTLY. We’re listening, not defending.

🦠 WHAT IF YOUR GALLBLADDER IS TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING? 😳🌿

Let’s talk PARASITES, GUT HEALTH & GALLSTONES!

Did you know certain parasites can live within your liver and bile ducts for YEARS? 👀

Liver flukes, including Clonorchis, Opisthorchis, and Fasciola, can contribute to inflammation, disrupted bile flow, and an increased risk of gallstone formation.

And here’s where things get interesting! 🔬

I’ve been documenting my personal experience with our Prima Elements 10-Day Parasite & Gut Health Protocol, including the unusual stone-like material I recently passed during a liver and gallbladder flush.

While its identity remains unconfirmed, this experience has opened up some fascinating conversations about digestive health!

🌿 Our 10-Day Parasite & Gut Health Kit was created to encourage a more intentional approach to digestive wellness, nutritional support, and healthy daily habits.

It’s important to understand that detox kits and gallbladder flushes have not been proven to eliminate gallstones or treat parasitic infections. Confirmed gallstones and liver flukes require appropriate medical evaluation.

Your health deserves more than guesswork. It deserves education, awareness, and informed action! 💚

👇🏽 COMMENT “GALLSTONE” if you’d like to learn more about our gut health protocol, my personal experience, and the importance of understanding your liver and gallbladder health!

FROM FAYETTEVILLE TO KENYA 🇰🇪

This is one of those moments that reminds us exactly why we keep building.

Our Prima Elements e-book has officially made its way to Kenya, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Recently, we participated in a local pitch competition here in Fayetteville. We walked away without a grant or prize, but we also walked away even more certain about the vision.

When we spoke about “our community,” we weren’t only talking about Fayetteville.

Our community is the person who walks through our doors downtown. It’s the person watching from another state. It’s the family learning from us online. And now, it’s someone across the world in Kenya accessing information created right here at Prima Elements.

That is the vision.

We’re incredibly grateful for every person we have the opportunity to connect with, whether we meet you physically or our paths cross through a screen thousands of miles away.

The mission is growing, and we’re watching it happen in real time.

Want the e-book? It’s FREE.

SWAP. SHOP. REPEAT.

Our very first Swap & Shop was a SUCCESS, and we’re doing it again!

Join us October 10th from 11 AM to 4 PM at Prima Elements for another opportunity to refresh your closet without buying everything brand new.

The idea is simple: Bring 10 quality articles of clothing and swap them for 10 new-to-you pieces.

This is what upcycling can look like in real life. Quality clothing doesn’t have to end up in a landfill or sit forgotten in the back of a closet. Something you’ve outgrown, outstyled, or simply stopped wearing could become someone else’s new favorite piece.

Let’s truly RECYCLE by circulating what we already have from one closet to another.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first event. Now grab those pieces you’ve been meaning to clean out and meet us for ROUND TWO!

Bring 10. Take 10. Give good clothes a new story.

What really goes through a football player’s mind during yoga?

This time, instead of telling you about the experience, I want you to hear it directly from them.

We mic’d up two of the football players during our yoga practice, giving you an opportunity to hear their thoughts, reactions, challenges and perspective as they move through mindfulness, breath and movement.

For the last few years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach and connect with students through the Intramural Sports & Recreation program at Fayetteville State University. For me, there’s something incredibly full-circle about inspiring young people in the very same place that once inspired me to take a yoga class of my own.

Prima Elements deeply values the partnerships that allow us to bring wellness into spaces where people may not traditionally expect to find it.

And these guys remind us of something important: yoga doesn’t require everyone to have the same experience.

We can all be in the same room.
Moving through the same practice.
Breathing together.
Laughing together.
Being challenged together.

Yet each person is having their own individual experience within it.

Press play and listen to the practice from THEIR perspective.

This is mindfulness.
This is movement.
This is community.
And this is what happens when we give young people opportunities to experience wellness in their own way.
