If you were impacted by the devastating wildfires in Washington state this summer, you can still apply for temporary cash assistance. DSHS is accepting applications through Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
Since its activation, DCAP has helped give more than $350,000 in critical support to more than 900 households.
Other support might be available. The Consolidated Emergency Assistance Program remains open for eligible households with minor dependent kids or pregnant people who are not eligible for other cash assistance programs.

• By phone at 877-501-2233
• In person at a local Community Services Office between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday
• At a DSHS Mobile Office (You can view the DSHS Mobile Offices webpage for dates and locations.)

Winter Clothing Fest !! A free clothing event 👀

Next Wednesday (Oct 28) is our biggest Free Clothing Event of the year at Pickering Barn in Issaquah. Shoppers are welcome from 10 am - 3 pm. Room capacity will be managed at the door.

Our inventory will be what people donate on Monday, and will hopefully be a variety of winter items like long-sleeve shirts, sweaters, hoodies, jeans, sweats, coats, jackets, hats, gloves, and more! You are welcome to shop, donate, or both!
