🩺🏆 The Votes Are In… Dr. Gerard for OGO! 🎉❤️

The people have spoken, and September’s OGO (Oh Great One) is none other than our very own Chuck! 👏🥳

Although, around here, you might know him better as Dr. Gerard! 😂🩺 What started as a nickname from one of our residents has become a campus favorite, and it’s safe to say Chuck has no choice but to embrace it! 🤣❤️And judging by his campaign poster, we’d say Dr. Gerard has quite the fan club! 🗳️👏

But all jokes aside, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate someone who is SO deserving of this recognition! 💙

Chuck is one of those special people who makes The Heritage what it is. His heart for our residents, dedication to providing exceptional care, and ability to bring comfort, laughter, and reassurance to those around him are what make him such an incredible nurse. ❤️

The relationships Chuck has built with our residents are a true reflection of the person he is. To them, he’s so much more than the nurse caring for them. He’s someone they trust, look forward to seeing, and share plenty of laughs with along the way! 🥹💕

And while Chuck may not be one to seek the spotlight, this recognition is long overdue! His hard work, compassion, and the difference he makes in the lives of our residents deserve to be celebrated! 🌟

So here’s to Chuck, our September OGO and everyone’s favorite Dr. Gerard! 🥳🏆 Thank you for the heart you put into everything you do. The Heritage is a better place because you’re part of it! ❤️👏

Our Trunk or Treat was filled with laughter, sweet treats, and Halloween fun as residents, families, staff, and friends from our community came together for a SPOOKTACULAR celebration! 👻🧡

There’s nothing sweeter than seeing generations come together, creating memories and sharing smiles! 🥹🍬

💙 Meet Griffin, One of the Friendly Faces on Our Therapy Team! 💪✨

Griffin Summit is a Physical Therapist Assistant at The Heritage, but his journey with us actually started before graduation! Griffin first came to The Heritage as a student, graduated from Terra State in 2022, and has now been part of our team for the past four years! 🎓👏

We love seeing team members grow their careers right here at The Heritage, and Griffin’s journey from student to a familiar face on our therapy team is a perfect example. 💙

When he’s not working with residents and helping them along their rehabilitation journey, Griffin enjoys spending plenty of time at the gym 💪 and catching live music at concerts! 🎶🎸

Our therapists become familiar, encouraging faces for residents throughout their stay, and we love giving you the chance to get to know the people who may be cheering you on during your own recovery journey! ✨

💙 Meet Kendra, One of Our Amazing Physical Therapists! 💪✨

Kendra Kahle is a Physical Therapist at The Heritage and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton! 🎓🩺

One of the things Kendra loves most about working in a skilled nursing setting is getting the chance to truly know her patients — not just their therapy needs, but what matters most to them. 💙

For Kendra, every milestone means something. Watching residents build strength, gain confidence, improve their quality of life, and regain the independence they need to safely return home is what makes her work so rewarding. 🏡✨

Whether the goal is walking more safely, getting stronger, returning to favorite activities, or simply feeling more confident again, Kendra is there to encourage, support, and celebrate every step of the journey! 👏

At The Heritage, our therapy team focuses on the person behind the plan — because rehabilitation is about more than recovery, it’s about helping residents get back to the things and people they love most. 💙
