A little color, a little creativity, and a whole lot of fun! 🌈✨

Our Terre Haute clinic recently got colorful with a tie-dye day, and our kiddos had a blast watching their creations come to life.

From choosing colors to seeing how each pattern turned out, the activity gave everyone a chance to get creative, explore, and enjoy the surprise of making something completely their own.

We love days that bring our clinic community together for some good old-fashioned fun. 🫶

“How are you feeling today?”

For some kiddos, answering that question with words can be difficult. A simple mood chart with faces, colors, or pictures can give them another way to share what’s going on inside.

Try making it part of your everyday routine. Your kiddo can point to the face that matches their mood, choose a color, or hand you a picture that shows how they’re feeling. There’s no pressure to explain. The goal is simply to give them a way to communicate. 🫶

Over time, these little check-ins can help caregivers better understand their kiddo’s cues while supporting emotional awareness and communication.

Save this idea and try a visual mood check with your kiddo this week!

We had an amazing time attending and presenting at the Chattanooga Autism Conference!

It was such an honor to connect with local families, caregivers, educators, and fellow providers who are all dedicated to helping our kiddos thrive.

A huge shoutout to Emily Jenda and Stephanie Horgan, who were featured presenters at the conference! They shared valuable insights on creating supportive, individualized environments that empower our kiddos across home, school, and community settings.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to chat, grab some goodies, and share your stories with us. Building a strong, inclusive community takes a village, and we are so grateful to walk alongside each of you! 🫶

A very special visitor rolled into our Greenwood Madison Clinic! 🚒

Our kiddos got a closer look at a real fire truck, explored some of its equipment, and shared plenty of smiles along the way.

Experiences like this give kiddos a fun, comfortable way to discover something new, ask questions, and connect with the people who help keep their community safe.

A huge thank you to our local firefighters for spending time with us and making the day so memorable! We think it’s safe to say the fire truck was a BIG hit. 👌

Today, we’re giving an extra big thank you to the teachers who bring patience, encouragement, and care into the classroom each day. 🫶

For many of our kiddos, teachers are an important part of their support system. They celebrate progress, encourage curiosity, help build confidence, and find ways to make learning feel possible.

To every teacher who takes the time to understand and believe in their students, your impact matters more than you know.

A smile can say (and do) so much! 😊💙

It can be the excitement of doing something new, the joy of connecting with someone special, or simply a moment when a kiddo feels happy and completely themselves.

This World Smile Day, we’re celebrating all the moments that bring smiles to our kiddos’ faces and the wonderful personalities behind each one.

Here’s to plenty of reasons to smile today and every day!

Sticky, squishy, soft, bumpy. Every texture can feel different to every kiddo. 🎨

Tactile play gives children a chance to explore how different materials feel while building curiosity and comfort with sensory experiences. At Grateful Care ABA, we respect each kiddo’s sensory preferences and support exploration at a pace that feels right for them.

Ever notice how much kiddos can discover when they’re given the freedom to explore? ✨

Building with blocks, sorting colorful objects, creating with playdough, or completing a simple puzzle can all encourage curiosity while helping kiddos practice important skills.

At Grateful Care ABA, we bring learning to life through activities that reflect each kiddo’s interests, strengths, and goals. When they feel engaged and excited to participate, there’s so much room to learn and grow. 💙
